The boxes that they brought into the… The boxes that they brought into the apartment were placed in the appropriate rooms with space for me to move around the apartment. Even with having to wait for the leasing manager to bring the correct key for the apartment and putting together a bed they were finished at the scheduled time of 5:30 p.m. That also included carrying the items into my second floor walk up apartment. The move was expertly handled and the team was mindful of traffic and arrived at each location before me.

I dreaded the fact of having to drive from place to place to gather boxes and other moving supplies, on top of having to ask friends to take time out of their busy schedule or away from another weekend, to help me out. I decided to go a different route, and found Independence Van Lines!! They are great!! They had everything I needed, from packing supplies to transporting my belongings to my “permanent” home. They had no problems answering all of my questions, their staff is professional, and best of all, their prices are perfect for a mover’s budget. No regrets.

Please look up reviews on BBB.com and… Please look up reviews on BBB.com and Yelp, please don’t give these scammy broke salespeople a free vacation. They are a brokerage with no trucks, no movers just salespeople and subcontractors. They also don’t “guarantee” the DELIVERY or PICKUP of any items meaning once you give them your deposit they can keep it and use this clause against you. Even if you didn’t cancel, even if a mover was never dispatched in the first place, etc. Even during the end of a terrible pandemic they are still taking advantage of people who want to move from one place to another. This company was once “Independent Van Lines” look up their reviews on BBB.com and don’t get scammed like I did. Every response on BBB.com is then telling customers they aren’t obligated to carry out services, and how they are going to keep thier deposit with no refund.

I caution you- do not use this company I caution you- do not use this company. Total scam! After a thorough inventory list I was quoted $2200 for my door to door service. And ended up paying over $6500. They hold your items hostage until you pay or threaten to sell at auction. Worst moving experience ever!!!!

The interstate moving business is not kind to everyone because its quite a complicated process. You need a company in place that will guide you and get your things safely to the new destination. Independence van lines did that for us then some, arriving head of schedule.
