The gentleman at the lot (I’m embarrassed I can’t remember his name) said he was just about to leave but would stay and help me out. Outstanding customer service, fantastic car - I rented a Model 3 Performance, all in all a terrific experience.

Excellent rental Had a great first experience with TeslaRents, with a two-week rental of a Model Y for our vacation. The specialist was easily accessible via text when needed, and the whole process was smooth (though a Manhattan pickup location would be great). Would definitely rent here again.

An excellent experience with a bad aftertaste An excellent experience. Easy pickup and return, very clean low mileage cars, and very reasonable. I will definitely be renting with them again. Update: Please note that there is a charge for "excess mileage" which is quite expensive. Although noted in the agreement, it was not obvious.

Never again Never again. Many hidden fees. First, they charge you for every EZ toll (regular toll + additional fees for each and every toll, even if the toll price is $0.50!!). Then, they are not transparent at all regarding car charging fees. They're supposed to have you pay what they pay to Tesla, but they charged me suspiciously high car charging stations fees, and when I asked for the details, they stopped answering me! Same for the mileage; they advertise 300 miles per day, but they calculated it as 600 for 3 days instead and charged for additional undue mileage. Scam company!! From start to finish, renting from TeslaRents was a complete disaster.

Overall the experience was a positive… Overall the experience was a positive one. As a first time Tesla driver, we appreciated the quick tutorial (virtual and in person). The rental process was easy and the agents were just a phone call away to answer any questions. And of course, the Tesla was an out of this world experience. It was hard to go back to my regular car.
