TeslaRents has turned into a perennial… TeslaRents has turned into a perennial favorite for renting cars! The hosts and the company have always been quick to answer my (many!) questions and the process to reserve a car is simple and efficient. About the only bad thing I can say is that they've ruined conventional cars and car rentals for me at this point.

Excellent rental Had a great first experience with TeslaRents, with a two-week rental of a Model Y for our vacation. The specialist was easily accessible via text when needed, and the whole process was smooth (though a Manhattan pickup location would be great). Would definitely rent here again.

An excellent experience with a bad aftertaste An excellent experience. Easy pickup and return, very clean low mileage cars, and very reasonable. I will definitely be renting with them again. Update: Please note that there is a charge for "excess mileage" which is quite expensive. Although noted in the agreement, it was not obvious.

Worst rental experience ever. Worst rental experience ever. The car you rent is someone's personal car. It is not checked it is fit to drive by anyone. Mine didn't have a charging cable, no winter tires (illegal to drive in Canada) and no heating or cooling working system. And then, you have no infrastructure or people to help you with, there is no replacement, no agency, just a phone number with an answering machine: welcome to hell.
