STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! I rented the car to be picked up in Santo Domingo through Discover Cars, and the contract was serviced by Flexways, who then sent us to a shoddy, back alley garage several miles from the airport which provided an old, beat-up car. The contract stated we would pay by American Express, but the garage insisted on cash, or that we must pay an extra $169. We went ahead and paid, then requested a refund from Flexways because this was a blatant overcharge. Worst customer service ever! It is now 7 months and about 20 emails later and I just received a partial refund. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

Compulsory Insurance scam. You will not pay what advertised. * they scammed me out of 25$ a day extra without this being notified to me in any way prior to the arrival in Mexico * the car was in bad conditions, one windshield wiper was broken so when it rained the passenger did not see anything. Also the car had 0 liquid for the wipers, so I had to make multiple stops to clean the windshield * the operator that I interacted with when I picked the car up was very rude. * they were late to pick us up at the airport

Quick & easy Everything went smooth, the driver wait outside Punta Cana airport, so we did all the paperwork on parking lot :-) The car was brand new as I expected. No problem with deposit return, except currency change rate from USD to DOP.

Still waiting for deposit refund… Have been waiting 2 weeks for the refund of my deposit of 450 dollars despite being told it would be 2 to 3 days. Customer service have gone quiet. They were late collecting us from the airport and the entire rental process was stressful and uncomfortable. We were told we could be arrested if we didn't buy further insurance despite having already bought full coverage through Discover cars. I can't recommend this company at all.
