GBI always have a positive experience… I always have a positive experience with Flexways. I have a chaotic government job, so the last thing I need is to get bogged down when it comes to rental vehicles. I usually need something with a large cargo capacity when moving our product up through Colombia into Miami, and my guys never have an issue. Flexways gets us into the vehicles we need.

GBI have a rental for when I landed on…April 21st I have a rental for when I landed on Sunday and Flexway was already closed ! I was forced to get another rental for the one night and then had to return that rental to try to get my rental through Flexway the next day . I asked them to refund me the partial amount for the night they were closed and refused . They also wanted to charge me an extra 189 for unnecessary charges . They said I couldn’t use my insurance if were to pay with my bank card . So they then decided to cancel my reservation on me and left me and my daughter stranded without a car because I called them out for being sketchy . SO PLEASE DONT EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY ! THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS . So unprofessional and rude ! The manager told me to go F myself right in front of my 7 year old daughter .

GBRun run run!! Run run run!!! Biggest scam Carly rental ever. Forced to buy their insurance and pay $27 a day for Easy pass. We used 2.75 worth in tolls. Pretended they didn’t speak English when we called for pickup from airport. Total disgrace of a rental company. Additional $283 charged!!!!

GBBuyer Be Ware I discovered that Flexways, like other rental car companies in Costa Rica, have lots of expensive hidden insurance fees and other potential expenses when you book online before you arrive in country. The price I paid in advance had many more add-on costs when I arrived and I ended up paying much more for the vehicle. But they have you under a barrel. And to rub salt in that wound I ended up having to pay for a full tank of gas when I returned the car even though I had just filled up and had the receipt to prove it! They claimed it was not completely full. That was a complete scam. Because of heavy traffic, I decided to pay rather than get back on the road to go back to the service station I had left 5 minutes before turning in the car. I was in livid! The bottom line is make sure you understand all the fees they will charge you before you reserve and commit. You will likely be better off renting from one of the big names than a local Costa Rican company.
