Rented a car in Miami Rented a car in Miami. Had to pay $250 more than listed. Such a group of sharks. Charge extra for a meter to read the motorway tolls. Refused to accept my Worldwide car hire excess despite it explicitly saying it covered the U.S. System was too out of date to recognise my zip code in NY (1 year old building). Terrible service will try to screw you. Go for Sixt or Avis instead

The absolute worst I've ever experienced The absolute worst. They didn't have my reserved car, nor any replacement car, despite me confirming my reservation explicitly the day before. Asked what they'd do to fix this, they said "nothing, but you can walk to the other rental agencies". Asked why they didn't call me to tell me this before I spent TWO HOURS commuting here from the Bronx, the jackas$ behind the counter literally shrugged and said "I just work here". Worst service ever.

Avoid this company at all costs Avoid this company at all costs. They have cancelled my booking without notice, with no refund. It seems like they have the right to cancel bookings if you are late for a pickup. This is absolutely ridiculous. It is pointless to use companies that have no offices and whose business is based on someone coming to the collection point and dropping them off. If your flight is delayed, they can cancel your booking, and you won't get your money back IT'S A TOTAL SCAM!

Totally bait and switch tactics to make… Totally bait and switch tactics to make you upgrade. I paid for a medium SUV then they showed me a hundai (mosquito size) vehicle which nobody would drive. I ended up paying $250 extra for 6 days then they still didn't give me an SUV they gave me a dirty dodge challenger. It was late at night near 10 pm.I couldn't argue with the man. I wont go into details about returning the vehicle. Ace car rental: you got me once but never again!

Scam Alert SCAM ALERT. Book ACE thru booking.com 2 months out. They wouldn’t let me prepay. Thought that was odd. So 3 days prior to my arrival. I called them direct and they said oh just pay at the counter. I’ve rented cars over a 100 times between business and pleasure and agin though that was odd. BOY WAS I RIGHT. I got to thre counter an hr late due to a flight delay and they said I wa late and my car rental went from 220 to 580. As I was at the counter the other agent to another customer was saying the same script. IT WAS THE ILD BAIT AND SWITCH ON PRICING. Agent had the audacity to say you should have prepaid. When I told him I tried twice he shut up and didn’t have an answer. When booking.con sent me a survey on my experience. I told them what happened and crickets after. Don’t believe any positive experience’s they are fake as this so called company is. Stick to the name brands. ACE IS A SCAM!’
