Great App This App allow you to find the best gas prices in an area. They have challenges to earn points to win free gas.

No human beings work in customer… No human beings work in customer service. Only reply you will get when leaving a message is a Email Bot reply that says nothing about your issue. Same goes when emailing them. Extremely poorly run company and zero customer support. Beware!

Signed up a month ago. Still no card Put in for a GasBuddy card in June. It got shipped (supposedly). It is now almost a month and still no card. Customer Support still emails me reminders to activate and take advantage of the savings, but can’t seem to mail the card so it gets delivered. Good thing I went with the free membership. Customer Support bots tend to respond more often than an actual human. Honestly at this point I’m just going to consider deleting my account. Waste of my time waiting for a savings card and dealing with incompetent customer service.

No replies to bug reports I submitted a bug report 2 weeks ago and still NO REPLIES. The app does NOT allow me to enter gas price at our local gas stop (3.1 miles away). I tried a dozen times over several days (yes, I clicked CONFIRM each time). So, what is the purpose of GasBuddy?

Gas prices are posted without having to prove you are anywhere near the gas station. Gasbuddy keeps getting worse over time. They award points to people for posting prices. In order to earn points a lot of posters just post whatever price someone else posts. A lot of the time the prices are very far from the real price. Their disclaimer that they are crowdsourced which could be a valid excuse for all the wrong prices being reported; however, this could be avoided by only allowing the prices to be reported on the app. When a person earns points on the app they have to be within a half mile in order to earn points. When they post on the web I'm not sure how far away they are. If points are only awarded when posting on the app I think you would see a huge improvement in reports of gas prices.
