My wife's hard drive stopped working… My wife's hard drive stopped working and would just spin and click. That is a sound I never wanted to hear. I knew that it would cost money to get it fixed and get the data retrieved. I searched a couple places and decided to go with Fields Data Recovery. I worked with Adam through the process to get the hard drive to them. It took about a month to get the drive fixed and the data recovered. During the process I became a bit concerned as I read that Fields Data Recovery was a scam. I became scared because I had already paid $1200 up front before any of the work was done. It was a risk I took to get the data recovered but was still uneasy. While communication was not always up to par, I was able to reach out on my own and get a hold of someone. I believe I spoke to Ryan? at Fields Data Recovery when I called and he reassured me that this wasn't a scam, that sometimes it can take a while to recover the data, and sometimes people don't often get the result they expect because each scenario is different. I wanted to post this review and say THANK YOU to Adam and Ryan for putting up with my anxiety and always putting forth their best efforts to put me at ease. Thank you both! I will use Fields Data Recovery in the future if a hard drive goes bad! =)

Data recovered; money well spent (Ref WO-011036) A customer service advisor kept me up to date on the progress for the data recovery from my hard drive. Just about my entire life was stored on my hard drive and Fields Data Recovery was able to restore my entire hard drive (497 Gb). The service was very timely and well worth the money to recover my data.

Don't know the reason for asking $1200… Don't know the reason for asking $1200 non refundable in advance without making sure what data is going to be recoverd and what will be consequences and also, not taking care of their commitments for scanning, returnig.

Recovering Moms Data from a 2011 Drive The company made it easy to recover the data. They sent for the drive and recovered all but a couple of moms files. Considering her harddrive was over 13 yrs old I was surprised they recovered anything. However, the drive contained over 40K pics and important docs my mother has accumulated over the years. Thanks much. Mom Happy.
