Great product for managing a rental property! Baselane has made the process of setup very easy. I had a quick turn around time to setup a new system for a rental property and I was easily able to get everything setup. I appreciate the step by step instructions. The ease of creating an account and bank account and the helpful demonstrations for how to use the application. The fact that the application has no monthly subscription fee was super exciting for me as well. I love this product and highly recommend it for anyone wanting to deliver a professional experience to a tenant while also making the process of tracking revenue and expenses straight forward.

Baselane is not a viable option for commercial landlords Baselane is below average for rent collection and clears payments at the speed of 1980. I have had some payments take 7 days to clear, plus an additional day to actually show up in my checking account! The service I was using prior to Baselane was clearing rent payments in 3 days maximum, most of the time in 1-2 days. I will be returning to the prior service. The banking is a bit of a scam; they hook you with a high APY only to lower it below industry standards a month later. They also have very low deposit maximums - $5k. You have to ask for an override to make deposits above this amount....very inconvenient.

High yield account but poor customer service and fund transfer technology Baselane appeared to have all the right features for a landlord: rent collection, credit checks, even loans. Their interest-bearing checking account was also a nice perk. However, that is not work much if you cannot even fund the account. It's been over 3 weeks since I opened my account but after multiple attempts to contact their customer service, I still could not get my issue resolved. I even scheduled 2 live customer service calls but both times the representative did not call me! In short, high interest checking accounts and useful landlord features are the positives. But the negatives are their customer service and fund transfer technology, which falls short of expectations.

Fintech for Landlords I inherited 3 rental units and was in the market for a new and modern banking solution. I’ve been using Baselane for a couple of months now. It was simple to set up and get started. I have tenants using it to pay rent via ACH but credit cards is also an option. I can categorize expenses easily and overall it feels like it has enough accounting features that I don’t expect to need another app for bookkeeping.

Perfect for my needs Baselane has really been great for my needs for over a year. Staff are very responsive and helpful.
