GBHorrible customer service Horrible customer service. The login bugs constantly. An error message keeps telling me the login info is wrong, but guess what? If you just keep sending the same info, the account magically opens. Does that sound safe to you? I initiated a deposit from my personal account into our Baselane business account on Feb 15. A week ago. It's still showing as processing. The UX/UI looked nice in the beginning, but after setting up the whole account, the dashboard still has the welcome info, inviting me to set it up. What? We're switching out of this system over to Stessa, as soon as we can get Baselane customer service to answer the phone....

GBUPDATE: New features coming soon Update: After leaving this review, I was contacted by Baselane and was able to schedule a call to speak to the CEO, Mathias, regarding my concerns. During the call, I was able to discuss each of the problems I recently had when using their system and he took the feedback very seriously. Regarding my concerns about the UI being difficult to use, he took me through how to more quickly use the current site and assured me that there are upcoming updates that will address most of the common issues I currently face with the system. He also explained upcoming changes in their ACH system which will address my issues with transactions and showed me how to directly contact their support team with questions (there's also an upcoming update to streamline this process to make it easier). Changing my review to five stars because of how well they took the feedback, their professionalism, and how quickly they addressed my issues and rectified it. Also, there are a lot of exciting updates coming up that further improve both UI and functionality to make rent collection and analysis far easier and more practical than anything currently on the market for landlords. I'm looking forward to trying out the new updates! unremarkable. The UI is so horrible that it'll take you 2-3 weeks to figure out how to use their features. They clearly need a product manager on board or need to fire the one they have. Slow to deposit, they don’t take any feedback or really improve their products. App can be very glitchy and ALL THEIR FEATURES ARE HIDDEN and so hard to operate. I give them 2 stars because after you go through the painstakingly agonizing work off learning how to use their product it sometimes works. Im switching from them because its just not practical to spend 10-20 minutes trying to remember how to find account information. I just wish the user experience was better.

GBHigh yield account but poor customer service and fund transfer technology Baselane appeared to have all the right features for a landlord: rent collection, credit checks, even loans. Their interest-bearing checking account was also a nice perk. However, that is not work much if you cannot even fund the account. It's been over 3 weeks since I opened my account but after multiple attempts to contact their customer service, I still could not get my issue resolved. I even scheduled 2 live customer service calls but both times the representative did not call me! In short, high interest checking accounts and useful landlord features are the positives. But the negatives are their customer service and fund transfer technology, which falls short of expectations.

GBRental Management I run my entire management through Baselane. The three times I needed answers from customer service, they were prompt to solve my problems. I signed up mostly to collect rent digitally, which provides the tenants with their login and choice of payments. Also, the checking account has a competitive APY over other business banks. The function I didn't realize I needed was the cash flow and spending analytics by connecting other financial institutions, which then can be exported for a tax preparer.

GBI Would Give Them a 5 out of 5! I was, of course, skeptical at first since this involves rental money. I began using it in October and slowly on-boarded my tenants until I felt comfortable that the process worked as advertised. I have had no issues with the money being where it is supposed to be, and I can easily transfer it in and out of Baselane as necessary. My tenants LOVE it! They were previously mailing us checks every month. They said this is so much easier and free! I have had a few questions here and there for their support team and they respond very quickly, are friendly and knowledgeable. I would give them a 5 out of 5!
