Karako Suits is a family owned and operated business. The first Karako Suits location opened on May of 1982, in the famous Garment District in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This particular store, specializing in leather jackets & men’s suits, quickly gained the strong reputation of being the best deal in town. Saving people money, while providing first-class quality, has been the goal of the Karako Family since opening the doors to our first location 30 years ago. Today, we operate 12 stores throughout New York and New Jersey. We have locations in Manhattan, Queens, Nassau, Suffolk, and Rockland counties, in addition to our New Jersey location in Union. I ordered a gift card I ordered a gift card. I was told it would be shipped. I was expecting an actual card. Instead, I received (via Fed Ex) a piece of paper that said it was a gift card. It looked like a receipt, not what you would want to give as a gift.
