Karako Suits is a family owned and operated business. The first Karako Suits location opened on May of 1982, in the famous Garment District in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. This particular store, specializing in leather jackets & men’s suits, quickly gained the strong reputation of being the best deal in town. Saving people money, while providing first-class quality, has been the goal of the Karako Family since opening the doors to our first location 30 years ago. Today, we operate 12 stores throughout New York and New Jersey. We have locations in Manhattan, Queens, Nassau, Suffolk, and Rockland counties, in addition to our New Jersey location in Union. Bought three suits in the Howard Beach… Bought three suits in the Howard Beach store. Very happy with the quality. Very disappointed with the service. All three pants were in need of tailoring which I paid for. I brought the pants back several weeks later because the rear of the pants were still sagging. I was re-charged for this tailoring. Two of the three pants were never even worn! The tailor said the length needed to be re-tailored as well. The store rep wanted to charge me for that too. Did I grown in those few weeks? Very poor customer service. I will never step back in the store. Hope that $75 makes them very happy!

The company has tried to make things right by offering free merchandise, which I declined. One has nothing to do with the other. But they did try so I must give them that. They did apologize and I accepted. I have always liked the store and will continue to shop there. Sorry but I don't know if I will give the online store another chance.

I ordered a gift card I ordered a gift card. I was told it would be shipped. I was expecting an actual card. Instead, I received (via Fed Ex) a piece of paper that said it was a gift card. It looked like a receipt, not what you would want to give as a gift.

I would have rated 5 stars if Karako … I would have rated 5 stars if Karako Suits had 800 number directly to customer services. The problem was the shipping order listed a wrong address that I did not notice until a day or two after confirmation. They never responded in 24 hrs. as stated in e-mail policy of contact. I did got my suit and was very pleased. But being under a time limit for inseam tailoring you can see why I was worried
