GBNo one gets back to me... I tried this system out based on what I was told by Korey. He said if it doesn't fit my needs, there would be a full refund within 30 days. It didn't fit my needs and I reached out to him about the refund. I never heard back from him so I called him and he said he would process the refund. A few days later, Jasmine reached out to continue my onboarding, I told her Korey should have canceled my account and processed a refund. I never got an email confirming so I asked her to confirm. She did just that, thank you Jasmine. But then I got charged another month. I've tried reaching out and I got an automated email saying I will be getting refunded but I ask another question and no response. I called in again and spoke to someone telling them my situation. They sent me an email saying I need to log in to cancel my subscription. I can't log in, my account doesn't exist anymore I guess. I emailed them back letting them know that and no response. I sent another follow up email and still no response... Very unprofessional.

GBWorst User Interface Ever I have been in IT over 40 years and the Smart Vault user interface is one of the worst I have ever used. I now own a tax preparation business so we test tried it out on 10 of our clients, not one could successfully upload their documents on the first try. That was enough for us so we cancelled our subscription.

GBCore tool in my virtual bookkeeping business I've been using SmartVault as my core document management system in my virtual bookkeeping business since 2009 and it has been as important as the accounting software I use with my clients. I love how secure and simple it is to use, and my clients love it too. I've not seen another DMS that has the same functionality and convenience, even those used by large accounting firms. Still the best in my opinion.

GBOverall I love SmartVault Overall I love SmartVault, but my scanner won't save directly to it (probably scanner issue) and I can't (easily) make changes to names of folders that I want to add/alter. (operator error?). I have found that recent updates have been GREAT! and the more experience I get the better the software becomes. Love the "print" feature from Pro-Series tax software direct to SmartVault, so easy. I do find that my clients with little computer experience have difficulty accessing the software, others no issues at all. Good customer service! Very helpful representatives. Attended a couple of recent online trainings, too fast (presenter barely took a breath), too high level, zero questions at the end, those were disappointing, but I do know that I can follow up with representative when I get time.

GBStaff helped me determine the solution… Staff helped me determine the solution to a couple of my issues. We also identified a possible solution to a client issue. We will get back with the client to determine if we have corrected the problems.
