But when it comes to business, nobody should know what the people inside the company support in their personal lives. If you're publicly supporting political agendas and posting your professional position with it, bringing the reputation of the business with it, I can't support your business. Sorry, but you just lost a customer.

I think the bad reviews on here are for… I think the bad reviews on here are for perhaps not so honest website creators who sell under-par goods. However, if you are thinking about trying your own shop, this company have been great so far. Don't bother with Shopify etc who charge a lot. Now I don't know how scalable Big Cartel are but if you are wanting to try something out, try them. I'll be sticking with them for as long as my business can grow with them and they stay competitive.

Great, easy and affordable option for Artists I opened my shop on Big Carel in the Fall of 2021 and everything has worked smoothly since. I appreciate it's just one price a month and that they remit taxes to states. I have my store integrated w/ my personal website and I appreciate all the tools. There's also effortless integration with PIRATE SHIP for shipping. I don't know what the bad reviews are about, but as an artist with a small sales side business, I didn't want a store to take over my life and this was the best option
