Cs-Cart Multi Vendor new experience We’ve been using Cs-Cart for our company website since 2014. In 2016 we started to share our large design database with our clients through the multi-store feature and it has been very successful. In a few weeks from now we will launch our multi-vendor site. Setting pages, adding products, managing vendors & payments are easy tasks. Backend management access from a mobile phone is as easy as being on a PC, thanks to a great responsive theme. Cs-Cart team has always been on the spot anytime we had questions or needed technical help. All Cs-Cart versions are being updated on a regular basis. Every update always bring more features and greater user experience. All this to say we’re very satisfied using Cs-Cart and we’ll keep on growing our business using it.

Great marketplace solution We use CS-Cart MultiVendor Plus for about a year. Platform for itself has a lot of useful functionalities: managing goods, SEO, promos for customers. Huge asset is that its a low-code product - you can easily design interface or manage stores without coding. Onboarding process takes time because of these extended Multivendor possibilities but there is a lot of documentation and user forum where you can ask any question and once you understand the logic behind this product, you can get any answer just by yourself. We use separate checkout module (separate payment for each vendor) - gift certificates and discount coupons are not compatible with this module. Partially this limits vendors possibilities to make promotions for customers. Overall CS-Cart MultiVendor Plus definitely worth more than its price. I highly recommend this product if you plan to make a marketplace!

CS-Cart Multi-Vendor a robust platform for online marketplaces CS-Cart Multi-Vendor, when is worth to be mentioned as one the robust platform which have been able to provide a marketplace for every entrepreneur. It is without doubt a great and satisfying platform for online marketplaces for virtually all kind of products. However, it is not for everyone in every economy. It requires a well-developed financial system especially for payment systems whether local or international which need to be mentioned at the very beginning of the sales process. One should know programming or have a developer on board to be able to develop your own add-on for adding any particular functionality. Otherwise, be prepared to spend on readily developed add-ons and which still not customized. Nevertheless, CS Cart is an excellent platform, opening tons of possibilities for creating a great marketplace. On one hand, the main highlight to mention it is that there is an excellent CS-Cart support team which responds quickly and clearly when you face any problem. On other hand, there is also a nice community on a forum, which is really helpful. However, if you don’t have enough financial resources, CS-Cart and all its add-ons may be disappointing in many areas, and unfortunately it has been our case. It is very challenging to see the platform bringing in new functionalities with a new version incompatible with existing add-ons or themes. If you accept to upgrade, you lose some of the add-ons which need to be deleted or stopped or even cause a total malfunction of the whole platform. If there is any customization and you upgrade the platform, it can be lost forever or requires you to spend more money for a new one. Furthermore, many CS-Cart third party developers their add-ons are not compatibles even when they seem to be complementary. It has been a challenge and a really time and money consuming process. Most important pros: - Great experience in the market; - Great support team; - Helpful community on forum; - Many add-ons and Themes to choose from. - The marketplace will always look professional. Most important cons: - Too much frequent upgrades causing existing customizations, add-ons and Themes not working properly as main consequence of waste of money in case you ought to hire the support teams for both CS-Cart and its third party developers; - It is very costly to integrate CS-Cart platform with any other systems (like payment provider etc.) because of its constant upgrades which go with incompatibilities. My overall rate is average, because it has been disappointing for us to accommodate all the changes within CS-Cart platform and its third party add-ons and themes.

Life-time licenses required upgrade subscription fees to keep your license update, troubleshooting that is positive features, additional cost tech support after a year is minimal if you keep your license upgraded, Quality of framework CS-CART has rich coding. It a quite a learning curve, documentation is also very useful. They don't give documentation for Seller separately, all in one master guide. I love their technical support responses are weekdays, they solve the issue fantastically, that is another reason I like using CS-CART. I recommend cs-cart multivendor for professional and commercial level. their framework intends to serve a large scale of the customer without switching 3rd party to expand your user base. Support Technically available subscription-based also credit pay as you go. CS-CART is a commercial level framework can load faster, variety of payment system, easy to integrate, but getting a PayPal commerce approved is harder from PayPal not CS-CART, STRIPE is a breeze! CS-CART offers global multi-vendor solutions. Recently they updated 4.12.2 lot of features and more improved platform . Is it value for money? (YES) Cost can be increase but less than what you paying to a competitor for a platform, basic marketplace cost way too much with a subscription plan with other parties, with CS-CART I was able to launch my dream platform without much coding experience and it's scalable!

Very functional but not user friendly, particularly for the vendors Very functional Multi vendor marketplace but also very archaic - not at all intuitive. I needed help from an experienced developer at all times so it cost me a lot more to set up my website. My problem now is that the vendors will find this even more difficult to work with. I am actually quite embarrassed to present them with the vendor panel that they have to work with to list their products etc because it looks 20 years old! I know I will find it harder to attract and keep vendors because of this which is a serious problem because without them there is no marketplace. If CS-Cart focus their attention on creating an intuitive admin experience then this platform will be very workable. But if they don't do this quickly then I will probably regret my decision to buy their platform.
