Great marketplace solution We use CS-Cart MultiVendor Plus for about a year. Platform for itself has a lot of useful functionalities: managing goods, SEO, promos for customers. Huge asset is that its a low-code product - you can easily design interface or manage stores without coding. Onboarding process takes time because of these extended Multivendor possibilities but there is a lot of documentation and user forum where you can ask any question and once you understand the logic behind this product, you can get any answer just by yourself. We use separate checkout module (separate payment for each vendor) - gift certificates and discount coupons are not compatible with this module. Partially this limits vendors possibilities to make promotions for customers. Overall CS-Cart MultiVendor Plus definitely worth more than its price. I highly recommend this product if you plan to make a marketplace!

Best Multi-Vendor Marketplace System During my research of selecting a Multi-Vendor platform for our new E-Commerce Marketplace I came across CS-Cart Multi-Vendor and after using the trial period to explore the features and doing custom development for the platform our team fell in love with how organized the code of the system is and it is a complete package which we needed. The system has all the features you can imagine for an E-commerce Marketplace. It is really easy to set up and their customer support is amazing. I got two licenses for CS-Cart and I am happy with my investment. You can say it a complete MVP if you are considering to start a marketplace to attract customers and investors then CS-Cart Multi-Vendor is the one you need.

Cs-Cart Multi Vendor new experience We’ve been using Cs-Cart for our company website since 2014. In 2016 we started to share our large design database with our clients through the multi-store feature and it has been very successful. In a few weeks from now we will launch our multi-vendor site. Setting pages, adding products, managing vendors & payments are easy tasks. Backend management access from a mobile phone is as easy as being on a PC, thanks to a great responsive theme. Cs-Cart team has always been on the spot anytime we had questions or needed technical help. All Cs-Cart versions are being updated on a regular basis. Every update always bring more features and greater user experience. All this to say we’re very satisfied using Cs-Cart and we’ll keep on growing our business using it.

Very functional but not user friendly, particularly for the vendors Very functional Multi vendor marketplace but also very archaic - not at all intuitive. I needed help from an experienced developer at all times so it cost me a lot more to set up my website. My problem now is that the vendors will find this even more difficult to work with. I am actually quite embarrassed to present them with the vendor panel that they have to work with to list their products etc because it looks 20 years old! I know I will find it harder to attract and keep vendors because of this which is a serious problem because without them there is no marketplace. If CS-Cart focus their attention on creating an intuitive admin experience then this platform will be very workable. But if they don't do this quickly then I will probably regret my decision to buy their platform.

Very good solution to quickly and easily build an online marketplace CS Cart Multivendor provides the complete marketplace environment and structure by default, so you can start to build and run your own online marketplace. It provides for example a vendor onboarding system where vendors can apply for a vendor account, easy way to upload products, options for different product categories, filter options, a lot of different payment methods and the possibility to distribute payments from customers between vendors and the marketplace owner. Pros: - fair price for a marketplace system - it offers all the features you need to build and run an online marketplace - large network of (third party) companies that provide add ons for multivendor and offer them for a fair price - great support from CS Cart support team - high flexibility Cons: - the entry into the complex system is a bit complicated at the beginning, so it will take time to understand the logic behind the backend and the interplay with the frontend. CS Cart offers a lot of good tutorials to get into it, but what would had helped us at the beginning would be a starting tutorial which provides a general overview before getting into details. - more payment methods for stripe connect by default would be good (e.g. Klarna etc.). What is still to be mentioned from our point of view and we would have liked to know in advance: - The less add ons, especially from third parties, the better. Otherwise bugs can occur during the upgrade if the add ons are not (yet) compatible with the newer versions of Multivendor. - We regretted a little bit to have chosen a third party theme. Not in terms of design, but there were always bugs in the design of the frontend after we upgraded because the third party themes are not always adapted to newer versions of Multivendor. Conclusion: All in all, if we had to choose an online marketplace software again with today's knowledge, we would choose Multivendor again.
