AUVolcom lack of quality jeans Purchased a pair of jeans that were a comfortable fit (ie not tight). After only 9 months of normal wear, they ripped along the seam of the back pocket. Certainly such poor quality is not something I'd expect from a company like Volcom. Chat was not helpful either - just quoting Company policy at me Update 28/7 - Volcom got back to me saying they’d reviewed their decision and they sent me a replacement pair of jeans! Well done!

GBLess than desirable I'll start by saying, I love the quality, love the durability, I overall love the brand but Derek, the customer service "manager" is less than desirable. He came off rude and moody the second the call started. I felt offended as if I did something wrong by receiving a faulty item. I'll stick to my local distributors just to avoid the situation from happening again.

GBTERRIBLE QUALITY SKI GEAR - DO NOT BUY!! I took a new pair of £160 ski pants on a week-long ski holiday in January. They ripped within the first 3 days. I complained to Volcom customer service but they said the rip was ‘likely caused by a ski blade’ and as such not covered. I went back to say that it’s quite disappointing to hear that, especially considering my previous pair of ski pants (not Volcom) lasted 15 years of ski trips without once ripping or tearing. I told them I would have thought the materials used by Volcom to manufacture ski clothing are appropriate for ski use and are therefore more durable than they have shown to be. I said I can’t believe a ‘reputable’ ski company like Volcom would use material so easily damaged in the activity it was designed for, and that the brand don’t accept customer complaints when a pair of ski pants worth £160 rip within 48 hours. I got no response. I then phoned up customer service who were not empathetic at all. They said I did not receive a response because ‘what else can we say to you?’. Terrible clothes and terrible customer service. Will never buy from them again.

GBPoor Quality Purchased some snowboard trousers for my son in Canada on 21st January which cost 515CAD/£319. He barely wore them in Canada as he wore a uniform to teach snowboarding. He returned home, went on a week long holiday and the seam came apart. He had this fixed but he is now 2 days into a course in Europe and they have split again in a different place. Being within the 90 day warranty he contacted Volcom and was told it was general wear and tear! Will not buying anything from Volcom again.

CAVolcom changed their sizing, and they have been removing negative reviews I was a loyal Volcom customer for many years until recently, let me explain. I am tall 6' 3", and Large has been my go-to size. I could order online knowing that whatever came in the mail would fit perfectly. I recently purchased this D.I. Fleece pullover and a V-science Fleece pullover and found that they have changed their sizing, the fleece no longer goes past my hips and doesn't offer much protection for my kidneys and lower back. As I don't enjoy gusts of wind or snow blasting my lower abdomen I wanted to voice my concerns. Please please please Volcom maintain practicality over fashion and catering to the younger crowd. (it is possible to have both)
