A waste of time A waste of time. Spent 4 hours on a project called "Anthurium" and used a high-end recording device for the task. Fast forward 4 weeks, some Indian call-center guy messages me today, telling me my submissions were rejected and that I'm not going to receive any payment. LOL Should've known better.

Spam from Appen on Job listings I have not tried Appen, but they are spamming job listings (2022). Users are paid for referrals, which explains why they post so many ads. They earn money if you sign up through their referral link... Unfortunately this is causing too much spam wasting others' time.

If you like your intelligence to be systematically abused and getting ridiculous paid (or may not cos you will never know till the end of the month) after long working hours, then work for Appen. They are the masters of making you feel like a useless piece of object!!!

Will terminate you with no warning or… Will terminate you with no warning or reason. I worked for them for almost 4 years and ended up with a couple of good projects that were consistent. My project managers had told me I was doing a good job over the years, so I was shocked and hurt when I was suddenly terminated. They would not give a reason. The company seems not care about the lives they destroy by not giving any kind of notice or warnings when they terminate you. I was loyal and committed and felt I deserved better. I would not recommend them for this reason.
