So far, so good! We’ve only been using them for a few months, but are finding it feature-rich and easy to use. The onboarding session was helpful and has given us some ideas for events and fundraising activities.

My overall experience with Givebutter… My overall experience with Givebutter has been terrific! I'm impressed with the way the solution has grown in the almost two years since I started using it. Givebutter making the courageous decision to share the app for "free" has been a blessing for my little nonprofit. When I need Givebutter support, every rep has been prompt, courteous, and delivered a perfect solution. It's great that Givebutter has added so many modules like auctions and continues to add new features. However, there are some items that most of us low to midrange users need to be addressed: * The Giving Hub pages need to be configured to allow users to customize the pages so it can better integrate with users' existing web pages and provide a consistent experience across the three Giving Hub pages. * Those of us using ticketing need Givebutter to deliver on being able to assign a Fair Market Value to items. (see "Fair Market Value / Deductible Amount (per item/ticket)" and "Per-ticket customizable receipts" post which includes screen shots of a sample FMV implementation from a competing solution. When those issues are addressed, my review will absolutely be 5-STARS!

Trying to work with this Company but no… Trying to work with this Company but no live person to speak to. How can I run campaigns with bad customer service? What would donors do? I spent almost two hours on a chat waiting for responses and the nice agent said they have a small team and continued to apologize. Significant wait time between responses from agent. The he simply sent links they didn't answer the specifics. Again would have been a short phone chat. Obviously, this Company spent much of the funding on Marketing, SEO, and flashy website. Whet about good old fashioned reasonable customer service?

I made a donation to my high school and… I made a donation to my high school and I was charged $3 for a tip without my approval. I was also charged a service fee of $1 with out my approval or an option to opt-out. Will not donate the next if they use givebutter.com

A Major Source of Spam Emails EDITED AND UPDATED: I continue to receive unsolicited email from a perfect stranger purporting to raise money for a sports team I have never heard of that is halfway across the country from me. The unsubscribe link in the emails does not work -- it produces a DNS error. I have emailed the company asking to be permanently removed from any emailings but have not received any response. I do not know where this company, or this perfect stranger seeking to raise funds for a team I have never heard of, acquired my email address. Anyone considering using this company should be aware that you run the risk of angering your potential donors with unwanted spam. Be further aware that their purported unsubscribe links do not work, and that their site does not have any link for a user to request that emails be stopped. It looks like a pretty irresponsible organization to me. UPDATE: Trustpilot has advised me that "givebutter.com has flagged your review because they don’t think it’s based on a genuine experience." Nonetheless, I have now provided to givebutter the information requested in their reply (namely, the addresses I used unsuccessfully to contact them and request removal). Givebutter has now responded, "Thank you for providing that additional information. Our engineering team is looking into the unsubscribe link to make sure it functions properly in the future. Miranda has also been informed that her email is not reaching the intended recipient. We appreciate your concern over this and for bringing it our attention." I remain concerned about the issues I raised, and the number of unanswered questions that are still there. What process (if any) does givebutter use to scrutinize lists of addresses submitted by fundraisers to avoid spam? Why does the unsubscribe link on the unsolicited email only generate an error message? Why is there no policy concerning spam posted on the givebutter web site? Why is there no link or contact address on the web site for users to request removal from givebutter mailings?
