GBI guess getting The Call is a sign… I guess getting The Call is a sign you’ve “made it” in the worst time for authors in publishing history? I just hung up with my guy, who was calling straight from a boiler room. I swear I heard a monkey acting out in the background as well as several other exotic noises. I actually think that I might be a better online publicist than this scam company as I know how to read, am familiar with several books and authors, and even know some retail folks. However, I’m pretty sure it’s a thankless job. Good luck to anyone trying to break into publishing. PS: We have devised a special torture for telemarketers. If we get return phone calls from you people, you will get your comeuppance. When you least expect it, expect it. Don’t force me to show you my influence….

GBYOP is terrible YOP is terrible. I have asked repeatedly for them to stop calling me, have taken every polite step I can think of to get them to stop badgering me, and they continue to call, sometimes 3-5 times in a row, multiple times per day, always from a new number from my area. Even if this company offered best product ever (which they don't) I wouldn't do business with them because of the harassing and disrespectful sales tactics. And to any YOP representative who reads this review: if you can take the time to write a reply that you apologize for such terrible service, you have the time to TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST!!!

GBFour Stars I must first say I was somewhat apprehensive about publishing my book with YourOnlinePublicist, but after talking to and working with Mr. Jerry Javier I decided to take a leap of faith. Mr. Javier has been very helpful and caring along with his production team. They created two amazing book covers for me. I have not gotten back the feedback on purchasing books that I can sell to friends and family, but I am sure I will. Over all they did an amazing job.

GBCreepy and unprofessional They somehow tracked me down to an unlisted personal number and called to pitch their services, which is frankly creepy and not the sign of a legit business. Nonetheless, I took a look at their website. It's full of unprofessional typos and would make any author associated with them look bad. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

GBHappy with service and support I was thrilled with the service and enthusiasm with which this company worked with me. Their production team came up with creative ideas, were always responsive, and I always felt like I was in good hands. They streamlined the whole process and made it look so simple for a new author like me. Will definitely be working with them from day one for my next book.
