An obvious scam An obvious scam. I published a book with WW Norton in 2017 and have had no trouble whatsoever promoting it. YOP called me cold one day and started selling me, with the caller stumbling over the name of the book, and unable to explain what it was about. I very clearly told them that I did not need a publicist and knew this was a scam company. Days later the same caller called back, saying "do you remember me?" and started pitching again. Somebody should shut down these crooks.

A Nuisance and a Scam Like many other reviewers, I have also received many unsolicited phone calls and offers to represent one of my books. The calls persist even after repeated requests to stop calling. Not only is it downright harassment, it creates great suspicion as to the quality of their services. It's best to hang up on the spot!

YOP is terrible YOP is terrible. I have asked repeatedly for them to stop calling me, have taken every polite step I can think of to get them to stop badgering me, and they continue to call, sometimes 3-5 times in a row, multiple times per day, always from a new number from my area. Even if this company offered best product ever (which they don't) I wouldn't do business with them because of the harassing and disrespectful sales tactics. And to any YOP representative who reads this review: if you can take the time to write a reply that you apologize for such terrible service, you have the time to TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LIST!!!

I keep getting these calls quite often I keep getting these calls quite often. I published my book through another publisher years ago. I wrote the book just as a hobby and I am not interested or want anything to do with republishing. Usually my awesome Google Pixel detects SPAM call, but these guys have mastered that. The company does not seem to be based in India as one reviewer mentioned. Most of the offshore for publishing companies and call centers are in Philippines and these calls I assume are coming from there. I am not going to say bad things about any other country as it is the company's fault and we here in the USA let such companies be set up easily and all kinds of jobs have been offshored by company owners here.. so fault is with the company. I will definitely stay away from this firm.. I was able to hang up in 5 mins and block numbers.

Happy with service and support I was thrilled with the service and enthusiasm with which this company worked with me. Their production team came up with creative ideas, were always responsive, and I always felt like I was in good hands. They streamlined the whole process and made it look so simple for a new author like me. Will definitely be working with them from day one for my next book.
