CAWorst Moving company we have ever used! Refuses to answer about or honour our insurance claim. We previously wrote a review about AMOOV, but it has gotten much worse since then. Our goods left France at the end of 2022 en route to Canada. We asked for, were quoted for, and paid for our own 20' container from France to Canada through J at AMOOV. Instead, AMOOV decided to consolidate our goods with other people's goods into a 40' container. We were also told we would get tracking information for our goods, which we only received months after our goods had left our place in France, and that is how we found out they had been consolidated into a 40' container. We specifically did not want a consolidated container, as the risk of damage to our goods goes up as they are handled more. We paid for CBM basic insurance as well as extra insurance for all our expensive items. When we received our items, almost all of our furniture items were damaged, many to the point of being unrepairable or the repair cost being over what the purchase price would be. The local company that AMOOV used in Canada for delivery was shocked at how poorly packaged our items were and how much damage was caused to our belongings. The local Canadian company, one of the largest Canadian moving companies, has also said they will no longer work with AMOOV because of all the issues we had and the lack of any response from them, even their emails/calls etc were unanswered by AMOOV. Since then it has been a nightmare, over 1 year since our belongings were delivered, to get any of our insurance money or compensation from AMOOV for not giving us the service that we paid for. We have not been paid a single cent in insurance or compensation from AMOOV, it has been over 1 year since our belongings arrived in Canada and over 1-1/2 years since our belongings left France. Most emails to AMOOV do not get a single response from the appropriate departments, insurance for example. We have emailed managers who also do not respond to emails either. J, our sales person, only responds promising it will get resolved next week, which over 1 year later is clearly not the case. AMOOV stated in response to our previous review, dated August 2023, that they would have our insurance finalized by the next week. "As promised, your insurance claim will be finalized by end of the week." It is now April 2024, and since then AMOOV has mostly been quiet, and has not paid a single cent in insurance or compensation for the damages and the fact we didn't get the service we paid for. It sounds like AMOOV is a company where if everything goes as planned then its OK, but if anything goes wrong, they refuse to take any responsibility. Personally, we could not give a more negative review for a company than what we would give AMOOV. If you could give negative scores it would be the max possible.

FRAnguish and annoyance are the words… Anguish and annoyance are the words that best describe our recent experience with Amoov. The volume to be moved was estimated by video and underrated so the removalists had to get another truck to finish the job. The difference in volume nearly doubled the initial invoice. This difference was claimed once the shipment finally arrived and I had to pay to see our belongings delivered after16 weeks instead of 8 as written on the contract. We never had the boxes as included in this contract for pre-packing because no one knew who would do the moving until the last moment. It is next to impossible to talk to someone, no one answer the phone, the person in charge of the job constantly changes and have no direct phone number, just an email address. We lived during all these weeks with the feeling that we would be lucky if we get back our shipment. Fortunately, the sub-contractors were professionals.

AEQuality service but I would have like a… Quality service but I would have like a tiny bit more sense of emergency on the packing. We validated our move only 10 days in advance, it was really stressful due to an urgent assignment from my husband. Afterwards the process was smooth until the end. I recommend.

NLWe used their services for the shipping… We used their services for the shipping of our furnitures from our secondary home to New Zealand. Really good packing I have to say, a bit too much at some point. Cargo arrived safe, and nothing was broken, we had a few designer furnitures that we were a bit stressed about and they didn't get a scratch. Communication was pleasant as well, we got a bit too many messages and updates, and some information were double and triple confirmed, but again, I guess better this way. This was our second international move and it was way better than the prior one with another company. Price is decent, not the cheapest. I recommend amoov
