Worst moving experience Worst moving experience . I used Flatrate for moving and storing my furniture until my new house was completed. I paid for ‘premium storage’ at its Newark location. 18 month later and 10,000 dollars in storage fees alone, my furniture was delivered. All the furniture was damaged, light fixtures broken and rugs ripped and molded. Driver stated that was the condition it was in when pick up at its Bronx facility. Damages exceeded 40,000 dollars. Flatrate sent me a check for 700 dollars in total compensation.

They were on time and efficient throughout the process. Bernard from sales and the dispatch staff made the process easy and clear. Now waiting for long distance delivery.

Excellent moving crew second time around I used FlatRate twice in the space of two months. First, to remove the contents of my home to a storage facility, then six weeks later to shift everything to my new residence. Bernard was very helpful and calm with planning, and Rigo and his team, Angel and Uriel, were The Best in packing and moving my furniture and belongings with utmost care, so much so I requested them for the second phase of the move.
