Polite, professional and diligent The delivery crew (Saïd and Abdul) were very polite, helpful and professional. They arrived early, worked diligently and treated my belongings with care. They were considerate and pleasant to deal with. This was my sixth move with FlatRate and I would always recommend them.

My agent Adam also made the scheduling process very smooth and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Not to mention the cost of the move was significantly cheaper and more fair compared to all other competitors I got quotes from. It was my first time using any moving company and flat rate so the bar has now been set high. I would highly recommend flat rate to anyone else.

Worst moving experience Worst moving experience . I used Flatrate for moving and storing my furniture until my new house was completed. I paid for ‘premium storage’ at its Newark location. 18 month later and 10,000 dollars in storage fees alone, my furniture was delivered. All the furniture was damaged, light fixtures broken and rugs ripped and molded. Driver stated that was the condition it was in when pick up at its Bronx facility. Damages exceeded 40,000 dollars. Flatrate sent me a check for 700 dollars in total compensation.

They were on time and efficient throughout the process. Bernard from sales and the dispatch staff made the process easy and clear. Now waiting for long distance delivery.

Third Flatrate move This was my third move with Flatrate (one overseas and two in New York City) and I’ve always had a great experience. The crew did a great job—even with a challenging entryway at the move-in location. The team was also very flexible with some last minute changes. Definitely recommend.
