I originally was with the company prior… I originally was with the company prior and had a move in rate of 79.99 a month with a noted increase of 10.00 after the promotion this was 7 years ago- somewhere along the line they sold to this company and every quarter since they have taken over, my rate has increased- I just got another letter to saying explaining the reason for the increase this time. ridiculous - stating they understand the financial strain this year has been and are trying to keep the storage units available by keeping cost as low as possible so what do they do?? Increase it another 20.00. I now pay 161.00/month for the smallest climate controlled unit they have available- I will be cancelling and NEVER REFERRING this company to anyone. My bill has increase almost 100.00 over the past couple years .

Leased a unit and the so called air… Leased a unit and the so called air control units, nope for the first week no air some of my electrical equipment has been damaged the team at a local Compass Storage are showing signs of shady activity. Never had any problems with staff. This is a cost review only. Never had any problems with staff or the unit it self my review is for corporate. This 6 month price increasing has left me no choice but to pack my stuff and go somewhere else. I know I can get a better price elsewhere. I'm not going to share any $ amount but my rent doubled in a few years of renting and they will keep raising it until I can't afford it. Then I have to remove all my belongings or obviously if I don't pay they lock it up and sell my belongings. This company would be more beneficial for short term renters.

predatory company this company preys on people who need to store items. they will raise your rate every single time they have the opportunity. anyone who needs storage is much better off selling anything they can to avoid using this company. you can buy new EVERYTHING for the price they charge and the raised rates they perpetually add. just another company trying to extract every dollar they can from their victims
