GBI would have given zero stars to the… I would have given zero stars to the Sullivan Drive location in Duluth, GA, if 'd had the option due to the horrendous customer NO service. Don't waste your time calling the district manager, Hal, or the regional manager for that matter. The district manager, Hal, will arrogantly tell you that he is the one who makes the decisions and has the final say, despite the Regional manager being a higher level. GBLeased a unit and the so called air… Leased a unit and the so called air control units, nope for the first week no air some of my electrical equipment has been damaged the team at a local Compass Storage are showing signs of shady activity. Shows really no concern for me the customer. Customer service is lacking very much,

GBThey rent to the homeless so they can sleep I rented the unit 4 weeks ago and yesterday I came to pick up some things and found my unit almost empty. It had been stolen. It has no security. No cameras. The gate is open 24/7. They rent units to homeless people and they use them to sleep. They were one of these people who robbed me because I found part of my dining room set in one of the homeless units.. XERXOR SELF STORAGE TENANT INSURANCE Company would ONLY cover $3000 dollars later make the claim...PAY more to have a unit with A/C but are truly making it easier for thiefs to stole your belongings from inside.That's why the homeless prefer to pay to sleep and steal …… There is no reason that the Compass Self Storage allows them to do that and they even have pets.

GBI originally was with the company prior… I originally was with the company prior and had a move in rate of 79.99 a month with a noted increase of 10.00 after the promotion this was 7 years ago- somewhere along the line they sold to this company and every quarter since they have taken over, my rate has increased- I just got another letter to saying explaining the reason for the increase this time. ridiculous - stating they understand the financial strain this year has been and are trying to keep the storage units available by keeping cost as low as possible so what do they do?? Increase it another 20.00. I now pay 161.00/month for the smallest climate controlled unit they have available- I will be cancelling and NEVER REFERRING this company to anyone. My bill has increase almost 100.00 over the past couple years .

GBPersonal service and help at the… Personal service and help at the facility are great, but the frequent rent increases are not. We are a nonprofit organization that has a tight expense budget and the way too frequent rent increases are extremely hard on us. We have been renting one or more units at the facility since before Compass took it over. We have a perfect payment record. That should be worth something.
