50% downtime!! I bought a miner from Compass 2-3 years ago. The number of outages have been excessive. Looking at my payouts over the past 12 months, the miner was offline for at least 50% of the year. HALF!! They had one job - keep my miner mining. BTC miners have a limited shelf life as we approach halvlngs and more powerful miners come to market. Compass have completely failed me.

The miner has been operating with… The miner has been operating with Compass since January 9th in Ontario. During this time, it has been running at full capacity, except for a few hours due to a storm. It was also out of service for a few hours last weekend, but it was quickly resolved with an email. The support is very good at any time and day of the week. I am satisfied with the facility service.

5 months of down time 5 months of down time, since Nov 2023, and still just lip service from Compass. I can't even request they ship it back to me, location is "somewhere" in Texas. Terrible management, horrible customer service; really expensive ASIC, I will never break even on this investment. Run, don't walk, away!

My bitcoin miner has been "under… Update: After initially leaving a 1-star review, the Compass Mining team reached out and assigned me a temporary unit for the duration of my unit being under repair. Thank you Compass Team. My bitcoin miner has been "under repair" for 1 year now. At this point, Compass no longer responds to my messages in the ticket I started with them when I ask for a status update on the repair. Additionally, I have tried starting other tickets to get an update and they just tell me they are "merging" it with the existing ticket and don't give me an update on the repair. I wanted to support this company because their mission to bring bitcoin mining mainstream is good, but the customer support leaves a lot to be desired.

High prices and horrible support. Let's ignore the prices and focus on the support problems with two examples: 1.) The relocation of units from Texas 4 takes more than HALF A YEAR now and is still not resolved. An absolutely horrible experience without the possibility to chose the data center the unit is being relocated to. 2.) A brand new S19k went offline. Instead of properly monitoring the deployed units, identifying problems and fixing them right away it took Compass Mining ONE WEEK to diagnose the problem without an estimate on the repair itself. Their support team obviously has no power over anything. It's the worst support I have encountered so far.
