GBManager Corruption I'm leaving this review online for people to know what the Hendersonville, Tennessee Home Depot (#0735) did to a 16-year employee who also happens to be my husband. Frank Torres was suspended from Home Depot on 8.12.22 because a female worker claimed he "touched her" and made her feel "very uncomfortable". I called Home Depot on the same evening and spoke to Chuck asking if he knew the employee's name and he responded that he doesn't know what's going on. I then asked the manager's name. I ended the call to Chuck stating that Frank would be there the next day to talk to Matt. We both find it odd that the situation happened over TWO WEEKS ago and Matt, the Home Depot manager, finally decides to confront Frank with this in his office AROUND TWO WEEKS later. Frank was suspended without pay and had to use his vacation time during this ongoing investigation. Things took another shady turn. On Thursday, August 25th, Frank spoke to Katie and told her that we had contacted the Corporate office. Corporate office said that it only takes 24 to 72 hours to get back to the employee regarding an incident. So what's going on here isn't correct protocol. SUDDENLY the next morning on August 25th, at 10:00 a.m., Matt called Frank. He stated that there was nothing on the video regarding the touching but will still fire Frank due to policy issues of what he allegedly said to the female employee. Notice that Matt waited to call Frank after hearing that the Corporate office was contacted. Also notice that no tape was found of Frank "touching" the employee, but the manager believed what she said anyway. If the tape doesn't show the touching proving that the employee lied, it should be reasonable that the employee also lied in regards to her statement. I'm legally blind and needed to move out of state for better services with the Division of the Blind. Now this can't happen as we are unable to obtain a mortgage without a job or a current job of a year's employment.

GBVETERANS BEWARE. when you sign up for VA discount, what they really want is your SOCIAL SECURITY number. Why Attempted to sign up for Veterans discount. Pain in the rear end. I was not looking for a charge account as I only use cash. What Home Depot wanted was a copy of my DD form 214. Would not accept my Government issued VA card. What they really wanted was my social security number. Go to Lowe's, all you need there is a valid VA card.

GBsliding door defective product and service Bought 2 sliding door replacements at the Cave Creek, AZ store. PRODUCT - BOTH were defective from the factory. One had a missing trim piece. The other had a ~5" black smear between the panes. SERVICE - In store ordering excellent. Replacement was a nightmare. HD and vendor both agreed both units were defective and trim piece needed to be added and the other sliding panel needed to be replaced completely. Vendor agreed no cost to the product but not replacement installation. It took weeks of back and forth with the store comparing windows/doors to appliances that return visits after installation would not be charged to the customer. That's fine IF the original product was right and needed warranty service months/years later but NOT when the original product was not right. So, after weeks of a ridiculous standoff we paid the $800+ installation (:45 work) with the understanding I'd elevate the issue to corporate customer service. Corporate handled the issue and refund issued. Embarrassing for a respected store like HD.

GBI have a Pro Xtra account with them as… I have known Home Depot for a long time now, I even got me a Pro Xtra account with them as I shop a lot there when I am busy. They have a large variety of materials, from timber, tiles, kitchens and baths to electrical, you name it they have it. Long opening hours, 7 days a week, very helpful staff and good returning policy. Highly recommended!

GBThis company's website is the WORST This company's website is the WORST. I spent 2 days trying to get into my account to pay it. I asked for a code to reset the password (assumed that was the problem) and never got it, despite multiple requests. Then I tried the pay by phone, which hung up on me twice. Finally got it paid on the 3rd attempt. I have no patience for a company that treats its customers like this (don't even get me started on the HORRIBLE customer service in the stores). You win Home Depot. I canceled my $14k credit limit account.
