GBBuyer beware!! Buyer beware!!! This company has subcontractors which not only don’t know what they are doing, but needed the help and guidance provided by someone I had at my residence to be sure work was performed correctly. We’re my friend not present, this company would have performed their service in a substantial different manner than agreed in contract. If you’re in need of basement water remediation, find out what type of foundation you have and what is the best manner to remediate BEFORE hiring anyone. Find a company with company workers not subcontractors. AND ABOVE ALL, NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! Could write a novel on the issues, but decided to stop here.

GBEverything went smoothly Everything went smoothly, from beginning to end!! These men worked their behinds off. There were not any details missed and there were no surprises! I highly recommend Mid Atlantic Waterproofing, let alone the job they did but also our peace of mind that our basement is dry, the walls secure and that musty smell is gone!!

GBThere is no better system....period! The foundation of my house was originally built too deep resulting in continuous water, sometimes up to 6" , accumulating in the basement during rainy weather. Musty odors mold, and the need to wear boots to do the laundry were the norm for years.I saw a rep for Mid-Atlantic at a home show and he scheduled an appointment. An agent came and assessed the situation, gave me a quote I could live with, and within a few weeks my home was dry and odorless. The team took 2-3 days to do the work, and yes, there was dust , however now, even in the worse weather, my basement remains dry as a bone! If you go with another company, you're throwing your money away.

GBSystem installation was delayed due to… System installation was delayed due to transportation issues, but 2nd attempt was executed on time. System in place for 2 months - haven't seen a drop of water in the area. Also there is no water yet coming into the sump basin yet. Maybe it's a time of year thing, but everything is bone dry so far.

GBBasements.com is unsafe, incompetent, and untrustworthy. From 3/23/21 Bottom Line Up Front: Basements.com is unsafe, incompetent, and untrustworthy. I've uploaded a few photos to other review sites from my recent experience having a drain system and concrete floor installed in my home. They tell much of the story. If you want more details, contact me and I'll show you copies of all of the documentation. Here are some of the quick highlights: - The owner left me a voicemail that the job would take 3 to 4 days from a Wednesday to a Saturday, "soup to nuts." The job ended up taking more than 5 work days over a 9 day span. One reason why is because the job failed its first inspection because of a code deficiency. - When I first raised the issues with the job, Basements.com said on Tuesday, March 9 they would fix all of the issues by Wednesday, March 17. Then on Wednesday, March 10, Basements.com said they would in fact not fix any of the damage (some of which is shown in the photos) and would file an insurance claim. When I said this was unacceptable, they offered to reduce the cost of the project by about 14% but only if I released them from any claims of damage and signed a nondisclosure agreement. Please let my experience help you and your family make a better decision than going with this company. From 2/28/21 I put down a deposit 35 days ago for an expensive project. I knew I would have to wait for permits before the work could be scheduled. But apparently, Basements.com only applied for one permit and then had to apply for a second permit. That has delayed the start date. It's been a week since I got the second permit, but no one has contacted me with a start date. At the moment, it feels like I'm paying for nothing.
