Issues with Pine Needles and Debris I had Gutter Helmets put on my home 3 years ago. At the time, I was told that I could get a FREE annual inspection and cleaning by calling the company. Last year when my Gutter Helmets built up with pine needles and debris on the edges, rain would splash over the edge and onto the ground. I requested the free inspection and cleaning but was told these would now cost $50 per visit. I proceeded with the cleaning, but the Gutter Helmets built up debris and failed again within 6 months. The product worked for me when kept clean but failed once debris built up on the edge.

Do not honor warranty and false promises from sales people We had Gutter Helmet installed on our house in 2019. At time of install, we were told the gutters would be inspected and cleaned free of charge as needed. Our contract also states the same. I called in February 2024 and was instructed there is now a $50 fee for them to come out and clean the gutters. I received no communication about a change in contract. Asked to speak with manager and told they would call back within 72 hours. Manager never called back. It is now March 2024. Called back and told the fee is not manufacturer fee but a franchise fee. That is not the case. Fee was imposed by Gutter Helmet company not the individual franchises. They do not honor warranty or contract, even if you purchased through Costco.

This company is topnotch This company is topnotch. They are less expensive that some of the other companies, but their product is superior. They are very professional, friendly, helpful and do excellent work. I had the gutter put on and a year later found that I had to replace my roof due to other problems. They sent a team out to remove the helmet, which had to be removed before the new roof was installed. They stored it and marked where it went and when my roof was completed, they sent a team back out and reinstalled the helmet. They did an outstanding job. They stand completely behind their product and work and even come out once a year and inspect, adjust if necessary and clean the gutters if anything gets in. I give them an A+. David T.
