A week before xmas my daughter asked… A week before xmas my daughter asked what could she do because her Harvey water softener had been leaking causing a high water usage bill and it was consequently isolated. That weekend I determined that the optimal solution in the circumstance was to buy a new ,boxed one from fountain softeners which they undertook to have delivered and did deliver by the Monday. I duly fitted the new softener but post commissioning discovered it was leaking from a not seen by me before on other units, a white plastic add on to the spool valve. The resulting problem was an ever rising brine tank level and water continuously running down the drain which matched the defect on the original softener. Having contacted Fountain they sent a van, changed the unit for another new one from Harveys factory. The new, new unit was fitted after dinner on Xmas day and commissioned by my son in law a few days later. In respect of this transaction I had an excellent fast efficient service from Fountain Softeners. Unfortunately Harvey Softeners appear to have ‘improved’ their design by the addition of a white plastic manifold on the side of the spool valve and it appears that may have caused these two failures.

I ordered 12 blocks of Harvey block… I ordered 12 blocks of Harvey block salt 15 days ago [Order ID 39558054 - 31-May-2022]. Although the web page stated delivery would be two to five working days I am still awaiting for the delivery and I have not received any update from Fountain Softeners.

Ordered the water filter Ordered the water filter, hoping it would solve the problem of not buying plastic water bottles. Had kitchen fitted in September, and fitted the water filter, didn’t work and was leaking, emailed, called and still not resolved and it’s November now!! What will it take?

Please Keep Your Money in your Pocket Please think about what your going to put yourself through.. On the 29th May 2023 I purchased water softener and filtration system totalling over £1000. On the site with it's glossy adds buy with confidence Full Refund given if your not happy...However my experience of lies not returning my calls, no clue of when my purchase was going to arrive. I have asked for a refund. Well that is a Joke in it's self. The date to day is the 27th of July 2023 I am still waiting.. I have now spoken to a researcher from a well known consumer program,to see if they can help!! Please Keep money in your pocket and try another company!! Mr Terence Bowerman

Bought Harvey Crown Water Softener Bought a Harvey Crown water softener after talking to James quite late one evening. Good price and 6 months free salt was even better. Slight delay in delivery due to supplier issue did not detract from the experience. His staff answered the phone out of hours and were very helpful. Can be a bit slow with any follow up action.
