GBWinter Awning HAHA NO WAY, ITS RUBBISH! Update on the Oslo WINTER awning 4th November 2022. It is not & never will be a winter awning, we have had a few chillier nights and the condensation in the awning is awful. When winter finally sets in, this awning will be useless, absolutely useless. A winter awning SHOULD NOT be running with condensation on a chilly night, i am so angry and upset that i have wasted my money on this garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS AWNING IF YOU WANT TO USE IT IN THE AUTUMN AND WINTER ITS CRAP!! I wish I could pictures on to show how bad the condensation is!! I have had Dorema awnings in the past & been very happy so when I bought my new awning, Dorema was my 1st choice. I ordered the Oslo 300 as it best suited my needs for use all year. When it arrived there were 2 pairs of clamps for the small veranda poles missing. When the clamps arrived a few weeks later, the short veranda poles are impossible to connect to the frame & long veranda pole. We have tried & tried but THEY DO NOT FIT. The material next to the padded sides tapered inwards which encroached my doorway. The pegs for what Dorema describe as a winter awning were plastic ones, not much good for hardstanding pitches, which i would presume you would use in the winter!! When I got the awning up, one side was 'scewif', no matter what we did it just looked really baggy especially above the door & around the zip. We have taken it down & put it back up but it still looks awful. Overall, I am so so disappointed & I will never again buy a Dorema awning.

GBDoreema dream? Not! I purchased a doreema awning last November , costing just over £600, we used it last week for only the fourth time and noted that a section of the stitching in one corner was open and rain was coming in. I contacted Doreema, Darren at customer services and his very first reaction was to blame me and claimed, without seeing more than the photos I sent to him, that I had overstretched the support poles (I hadn't) Subsequent e mails back and forth have been of a similar nature, me complaining and him blaming me for damaging my new awning. I love the awning but the customer service I have received initially has been nothing less than offensive. I am now stuck with an awning that leaks and a customer service advisor that doesn't give a hoot and just blames me! Avoid. I am contacting trading standards about the way this has been handled, watch this space

NZWow great awning Wow. People don't seem to like but my Dorema size 8 for my swift archway has been exemplary and withstood 120km++ winds, never let's rain in, has been so far perfect. I had to readjust the awning pegs as 1st time was v hastily put up, and I really like pegs and plastic ladder things that hold. So far ... 9 months in and half way thru Winter, it's been great awning. Just put down pallets, covered w ply and then marine carpet yesterday. Brilliant. I've got another room. Yay. PG.

GBWe bought a new awning starcamp having… We bought a new awning starcamp having used it 3 times in the 4th outing the stitching came undone we’re the storm strap attached having several conversations with a Darren Butlin from Dorema they will not accept liability stating that the awning was not tensioned correctly the angle of the storm strap was wrong etc etc we have pitched awnings for 15 years this is the first time one has ripped although there words as a gesture of good will if we send it in at our cost they will repair it is just not good enough in our experience now I would steer clear of any Dorema Awning
