About Organic catalogue

Why Organic Gardening? We believe that the best option to protect our food supplies, environment, health and wellbeing is to use organic growing methods. These harness the natural cycles and processes that promote plant growth. Your garden is your own little patch of the world to look after. Most gardens are quite small, but there are 15 million of them in the UK. Imagine the improvement to the environment if all of these gardens were cared for organically, and how much better it would be for our families, plants and wildlife. Organic growing doesn’t just mean throwing away the chemical weed killers and pesticide sprays. It is more exciting, challenging and satisfying. It is using natural ways to promote a healthy, productive and sustainable growing environment. It involves feeding the soil, encouraging wildlife, and getting creative with nature’s pest and disease controls. It’s not expensive, it’s practical – and it’s good for plants, people and communities. You don’t need a large space to grow organically, and it doesn’t have to be untidy! If you don’t have a garden or an allotment, then a window box or pots on your balcony or patio can in their own way be as productive. And if you mix your planting you can enhance your fruit and vegetables with beautiful flowers, enjoy the wildlife and have a succession of fresh produce. The Organic Gardening Catalogue is a trusted source of seeds and supplies. If you have any issues please do get in touch and we will resolve these for you. We wish you all the best for your Gardening Season.

strawberry plants I ordered 36 strawberry plants, but only 35 arrived. Four of the buds no sign of, the roots are ok so some of them should be ok. I tried to get in touch with them, but not a hope. I don't think I will order from them again if this is the standard of their plants.

I'd like to say a huge thankyou ! I'd like to say a huge thankyou to this company for sending my seeds out so quickly ! Ordered Wednesday, Dispatched few hrs later and theyve arrived today (Saturday) . Excellent service , considering many ppl are using the pandemic as an excuse for poor customer service! Whilst other big named seed companies take atleast 3 weeks before your order is dispatched never mind delivered !

Not organic at all Only a very small amount of their seeds are actually organic. Being though they are an organic company this is misleading. When my seeds arrived and only one packet was actually organic, I asked to return the other seeds and was told that I had to pay to return them myself. Awful company, don't buy from them.

Not great I have ordered seeds twice from OGC for this years veg patch. The delivery times and packaging were fine. However a large proportion of the seed packets I recieved are not orgainic but Dobies own brand in a paper packet. So beign called the OGC is a misnomer. Quite a lot of the seeds have failed to germinate or have poor stunted growth. The runner beans are a mixture of different varieties and the quality of the plants this year are poor.

Poor quality Ordered Picardy Wight garlic bulbs, 3 small bulbs arrived, yellow and old looking with very small cloves 1 bulb split open suggesting it had "bolted". When l reported it they tried to tell they were fresh stock this year. Also purchased tomato seeds, l packet says " Packed in year 2020". Dodgy dating as well?
