GBI'm a believer! Mark was incredible taking so much time to explain the Monocoat process and what I could expect with my rocker project. I was surprised that sanding would stop at 150 grit when I normally go to 220. On his recommendation I purchased a 20ml bottle of Pure and applied it to a piece of scrap from the rocker. Application was super easy. Just wipe it on and after 5-10 minutes, wipe it dry. The surface was so smooth, everyone in my wood club thought it was sanded to 220, but I had left a section unfinished for comparison. The Pure did everything Mark said it would and I will place an order to do the full rocker. Thank you Mark!

ZAExcellent product Excellent product! Worked perfectly for my application. The fact that there is no penalty for overlap during application make it perfect for larger work pieces that may pose a challenge to get finish on in a timely manner. Price is a little high but other than that I am completely sold on this product.

GBSamples disappointing I ordered 2 samples smoke 5% and natural and they barely provided any tint to my countertop. The colors shown don’t have an indication of what wood they may be applied to in order to produce the desired color. Unfortunately, I spent $13/sample and neither were near the sample swatch shown.

GBFirst time Rubio Monocoat user First time Rubio Monocoat user. Walnut color on Walnut, live edge slab. Turned out beautiful! Built a bar for my wedding reception and the guests were blown away! Served 100+ guests all night long and the stain/finish on the Walnut slab held up perfectly! Not 1 single issue was found the next morning!

GBBest finish ever. Best finish ever. Smooth matte, let’s the grain feel come through—wood enhancing, not covering. Super easy, even application with a shop cloth buffing it in after spreading with a plastic spreader. Looks totally gorgeous.
