Easy to apply Easy to apply. Awesome finish. Make sure the wood is properly prepared. Poor sanding will lead to a lower quality finish, but that is to be expected. Although a bit less forgiving than a poly or varnish, the minimal extra work in prep is well worth the ease of application of Monocoat. First time using but will not be my last.

I'm a believer! Mark was incredible taking so much time to explain the Monocoat process and what I could expect with my rocker project. I was surprised that sanding would stop at 150 grit when I normally go to 220. On his recommendation I purchased a 20ml bottle of Pure and applied it to a piece of scrap from the rocker. Application was super easy. Just wipe it on and after 5-10 minutes, wipe it dry. The surface was so smooth, everyone in my wood club thought it was sanded to 220, but I had left a section unfinished for comparison. The Pure did everything Mark said it would and I will place an order to do the full rocker. Thank you Mark!

Excellent product Excellent product! Worked perfectly for my application. The fact that there is no penalty for overlap during application make it perfect for larger work pieces that may pose a challenge to get finish on in a timely manner. Price is a little high but other than that I am completely sold on this product.

Such a great product Such a great product. The ordering is quick and painless and the d.i.y. ability helps a no talent hobbyist hack like myself make a floor look beautiful and professional. I have a hard time seeing myself going back to conventional stain and urethane ever again for any wood project. In addition, having no VOCs and the wonderful smell simply add to the enjoyability of working with this product.

We finished our previously untouched… We finished our previously untouched wide plank pine flooring with Rubio Monocoat 2C oil and absolutely love the results. 4 years later we wanted to spruce up the more high traffic area as it was dull and just starting to look a bit dry. One small bottle of the renew oil was exactly what it needed to return the warm satin sheen. The ordering process was smooth and the delivery was speedy. Great company with great products!
