The watch is great for my 9 yr old who… The watch is great for my 9 yr old who wants a phone but we are not ready for her to have one. I love the upgrade where you can text without having to go through the app!! My only con I would say is that when calling her or vice versa, it's not a clear call. It's hard to hear them clearly.

It works, but is far from top of the line Overall the product is decent and works for the kiddos to get in contact with us but there are certainly a few flaws with it. The location does not always update and you have to keep refreshing to see if you can force the proper location. If this is an important detail for you, this probably isn’t the best product to go with. The battery life is also terrible.The kids have to charge it every night and by the time they get home from school it’s usually completely dead about an 8-9 hour time span of very limited use, since they are at school and I have it set so they cannot use the watch during school hours. We bought the watches for Christmas, so have only been using them for about 4 months. Another detail I don’t care for is that now that you can text through the regular message app and do not have to go to the cosmo app, they don’t link together. What I mean by that is messages sent when inside the cosmo app, will not show in my regular phone message app and vice versa. Not a huge deal but is a slight inconvenience.

Jr Track 3 Review We got our kids the Jr Track 3 watches, so we had a way to see where they are and have the ability to communicate with them. Issuing phones was never going to be an option, so having something that did the basics was an attractive option for them. Positives: - GPS tracking - Texting - Durable - No apps/games - (if purchased) Cosmo Care Negatives: - Battery Life - Call Quality - GPS (if you want more frequent tracking it kills the battery fast)

After a few hiccups of getting optimal… After a few hiccups of getting optimal call and location working. It has been a great watch for a 2nd grader. Even with the few hiccups the Cosmo support team was quick to help and follow up. Easy to use, great school mode and no games!

Recommend! Cosmo watches have been great for our family! The GPS doesn't always give accurate locations, but the watches are substantially more affordable than other brands. The calling and texting work very well, and we like that the kids can only make and receive calls from numbers we approve. We like that there isn't Internet access to rot their brains. :) Whenever we had trouble with connection, Cosmo was able to help us over the phone with one call.
