First of all the socks are great First of all the socks are great! You get the quality you pay for! While most companies won't live up to their grand guarantee claims, Darn Tough are leading the way! When a pair of socks started to develop small holes after three years I filled out the online form, to be honest I was really expecting them to be "Unconditionally Guaranteed for Life". However their customer service made contact very quickly, and with some simple instructions to follow the socks were then replaced. I was very impressed that they stand by their products to this level and honor their warranty, so I also bought another pair. Very happy customer indeed! :)

BEST MILITARY BOOT SOCK I like these socks so damn much I’m taking 3 minutes out of my day to come on here and show it. In my second enlistment I’ve gone through many brands of socks trying to find the right ones and this is the absolute number one because they can almost make the most miserable boot feel perfectly comfortable. People complain about the price but it’s worth it if they make your feet bleed less. So yeah, 5 stars.

These lasted 2 months before hole… These lasted 2 months before hole appeared in the toe area, sent these back in November 2020 and i'm still waiting for them in April 2021? I have had socks for a £1 a pair that has lasted longer than these. PLEASE CAN YOU RETURN MY OVER PRICED SOCKS AT SOME POINT IN 2021?

Not set up for proper Uk trading Wonderful socks, but I got charged £114 by FedEx for customs charges and Darn Tough were unable to resolve this. I bought the 4 pairs of socks from the UK website, paying UK delivery charges, as a Christmas present. In late Jan I then got issued with a charge for unpaid customs charges by Fedex. Despite having tried multiple times and ways to get this repealed since then (and to do Darn Tough uk justice, they attempted to help), it was impossible, so I have ended up paying £114 to FedEx’s debt recovery agency as they would not respond to my emails themselves. While this may be have been partly a FedEx issue, Darn Tough were not set up properly to prevent this issue. I recommend avoiding buying the socks directly from the website and find a UK retailer. The quality of the socks themselves is terrific.

Did Darn Tough Sock try to get this review taken down? I've been contacted by Trustpilot, Darn Tough Sock want my personal info, including name, email and phone number, Trustpilot say that if I don't provide them, they will take my review down. If I don't provide my personal details to Darn Tough Socks, Trustpilot will remove a negative review. Hang on a minute, some people won't want to provide these details, and negative reviews will be removed. Does this not undermine the whole point of Trustpilot? So, the socks. I bought them in Ambleside, in January 2023, at a cost of over £20. I've had them for a few months and tried them out with my winter (leather Meindl) boots and summer (fabric Salamon) boots. They are a flat sock with little in the way of cushioning. They had a rough texture, I found that they rubbed against the ball of my foot after 3 to 4 miles. While I was in the Lake District I also bought a pair of Eskimo Sock from the Norwegian Shop in Keswick. They were £14 and perform a whole lot better. Darn Tough Socks, lack cushioning, are on the rough side and you can get better for less. I haven't done a long term wear test as I find them unwearable for any decent length of walk. In my original review I gave the item 3 stars, as I took into account all the positive reviews on Trustpilot and other forums. However, in hindsight, I've decide to base my review on personal experience only, and say that I regret buying the socks, that's twenty odd quid I'll never see again.
