Very helpful customer service I called after placing my order to add some items. I did not want to place another order and have to pay additional shipping. The person I spoke with had no problem fixing my mistake quickly and curteosly. My entire order shipped later that day not to mention for the cheapest price I could find on the internet. Everything arrived quickly and I was back to work with my new tools.

Highly recommended! I placed my order on a Saturday evening and first thing Monday morning received an email from them that apologized for their error, they had thought they had my part in stock but would have to order it and would ship it as soon as they could. I found it refreshing to not receive the run around or some other lame excuse/reason for the delay or worse no correspondence at all leaving the customer wondering what the heck is taking so long. It told me they likely have real, live, HONEST human beings running things there and sure enough I received my order that Friday. Excellent quality, exactly what I ordered/needed. Worked perfectly. Thank you GreatLakesPowerTools! -Bill in San Diego CA

Great first impression of Milwaukee staple gun. So far, it is the best staple gun I have used. I have gone through many over the years--Arrow, Power Shot, and Stanley among others. The Arrows were okay at first, but did not last. The Power shot and Stanley were extremely mediocre right from the beginning. The Milwaukee feels the most solid and has many nice features that no one else has--Belt clip, beveled nose for angled firing, built in hammer and staple remover. Milwaukee also makes the best utility knife I have ever owned.

Excellent first experience with Great Lakes Power Tools. Searched online for a specific Milwaukee recip. saw blade - GLPT had them at a very good price. The shipping charge seemed realistic (not inflated into a profit-center) and the product arrived quickly, and exactly as advertised. I'll shop at Great Lakes Power Tools again.

Makita 6302H 1/2" Drill I bought this to drill some (10) 3" holes in 3/4" plywood. This is a powerful drill than can break your arm or wrist if not used carefully. The enormous torque at low and very controllable rpm is a huge blessing. Also used to remove/install about 300 large bolts that secure our storm shutters (we live in Palm Beach Gardens FL) for the last hurricane. Proved invaluable. Just an excellent drill for WOODWORKING. Cons: Does NOT have the rpm's to drill steel. For some reason the chuck is more prone to moisture/tarnish (sort of on the edge of rust but not quite) than my 3/8" Makita or 1/4" Craftsman. It's not super heavy - i would recommend this drill! (Very large chuck key - easy on fingers - to easily secure bits)
