GBI recently purchased a SOG SEAL XR… I recently purchased a SOG SEAL XR fixed knife from SOG. The knife is excellent and it would hold up in a combat situation. The sheath is another matter all together. SOG's kydex sheath's are made in China. If the sheath is inferior in quality to what it carries, then it will fail under stress. If SOG is going to advertise their knives are made in the United States then they should also convey their sheath's are made in a communist country; a country that makes inferior products! Your selling your knives to active duty personnel, veterans, etc... For a $300.00 knife you would think everything would be of the highest quality. Not a company saving a few dollars on a sheath because their cheaper to make in a communist country. Those dollars your saving could lead up to the sheath failing when a veteran or police officer needs it the most! The customer service for SOG is not great either. I waited for a call back for 2.5 hours. They have no problem with taking your money immediately, but the return policy is time consuming and you have to pay to return their knive's and piece of s..t sheath's. GBMy Flash II SOG will not close - Never buy SOG. My Flash II SOG will not close. It's a throw out! I contacted the company and they will not fix or replace. It is barely used and not abused - none of their "warrantee rejection reasons" below relate to my care of the knife. I will never again by a SOG knife and recommend that you don't either. Here's the Company Response for my request for help: Thank you for submitting your online warranty request. We regret to inform you that your request has been denied. Our Sog warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, resharpening, damage caused by misuse, lack of normal maintenance, or disassembly. We do not have replacement parts to send out or for purchase.

GBI have tried 5 times to get an updated… I have tried 5 times to get an updated status on my order. 4 of those times I sent message and never got a response. Called the 5th time to and was on hold listening to a recording for an hour. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Will never order from this company again.

GBI spoke with 4 different customer… I spoke with 4 different customer service people and each one said “we are working on our customer support “. They said it takes 21 business days to refund my money on an item they advertised but didn’t say it would take 4 months to ship. Stay away. There are better companies to buy from. It is going to take a month to get my refund.

GBSOG Multi-Tool POWER LOCK I've had my SOG Multi-Tool POWER LOCK EOD - BLACK, V-CUTTER for a couple years now and after heavy use had damaged the pliers. I notified SOG and they not only responded immediately but they sent me new plier parts free of charge the very next day. I'm super impressed with SOG customer service!! I would recommend their products to everyone! Thanks again. ~Nick~
