GBDO NOT give this company your money DO NOT give this company your money. They do not offer a repair or parts service whatsoever. I have a SOG Tac model that I bought online and have had for a few years and the internal spring broke. The blade and handle still in near perfect condition I figured I would simply order a spring for it. Wrong. According to SOG I just have myself a nice $150 wall ornament now. They told me they do not offer parts or repair service. After many complaints through email the best they could do was offer me a measly 30% off my next purchase. No thanks. I will not give this company another cent. Benchmade would have sent new springs no questions asked. Lord knows there's a million of them sitting on the manufacturing line. This company is not the same since it was bought out by another outfit.

GBThe blade release jammed up inside and… The blade release jammed up inside and the blade would only shut halfway so because I forced it to shut and broke the back out a bit they told me it wouldn't be covered under warranty .the inside malfunctioned I would think that would be a defective knife and they said no can't help you.

GBDon't buy a SOG Don't trust this company, I bought a SOG while in the US. Th equality is questionable, the blades were blunt the file is fake and the pliers mechanism is crunchy. Several tries to contact the company have gotten me nowhere, they don't respond to email or their own contact page. they have been described as "shady " in another review but they have long passed that, they are just trading on the name and taking money for nothing but cheap tat.

GBI bought a brand new SOG Twitch II… I bought a brand new SOG Twitch II pocket knife with the lifetime guarantee. I've owned this knife for 4 years and the assist spring broke making it a manual opening pocket knife. SOG customer service told me because I bought this knife from eBay they will not honor the "lifetime guarantee". Beware of lifetime guarantees from SOG Knives.

GBWaranty not worth the paper it was written on. Apperantly they have been bought by a company galled GSM group. My SOG powerlock needs a little love so i called them up. The original warranty stated that sog of course covers manufacturer defects. They also stated that their lifetime warranty also covered labor and that they would adjust ot and replace any broken tools in it for life. GSM now says they "only have to honor the warranty as it was when it was sold" then refuse to do anything because they say it was "normal wear and tear" and offer a discount on a new tool. So basically, they do NOT honor the original warranty. (And its mot like i wasn't prepared to pay for the broken pieces)
