I have some problem with a sog trident and powerpint Costumer service from this company is pretty bad...don't care about Costumer service... Was fan of this brand for years Now...idk This not good Costumer service I think I'm going to stay with gerber... Gerber Costumer service is top notch...

I recently purchased a SOG SEAL XR… I recently purchased a SOG SEAL XR fixed knife from SOG. The knife is excellent and it would hold up in a combat situation. The sheath is another matter all together. SOG's kydex sheath's are made in China. If the sheath is inferior in quality to what it carries, then it will fail under stress. If SOG is going to advertise their knives are made in the United States then they should also convey their sheath's are made in a communist country; a country that makes inferior products! Your selling your knives to active duty personnel, veterans, etc... For a $300.00 knife you would think everything would be of the highest quality. Not a company saving a few dollars on a sheath because their cheaper to make in a communist country. Those dollars your saving could lead up to the sheath failing when a veteran or police officer needs it the most! The customer service for SOG is not great either. I waited for a call back for 2.5 hours. They have no problem with taking your money immediately, but the return policy is time consuming and you have to pay to return their knive's and piece of s..t sheath's. Don't buy a SOG Don't trust this company, I bought a SOG while in the US. Th equality is questionable, the blades were blunt the file is fake and the pliers mechanism is crunchy. Several tries to contact the company have gotten me nowhere, they don't respond to email or their own contact page. they have been described as "shady " in another review but they have long passed that, they are just trading on the name and taking money for nothing but cheap tat.

I have tried 5 times to get an updated… I have tried 5 times to get an updated status on my order. 4 of those times I sent message and never got a response. Called the 5th time to and was on hold listening to a recording for an hour. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Will never order from this company again.

My Flash II SOG will not close - Never buy SOG. My Flash II SOG will not close. It's a throw out! I contacted the company and they will not fix or replace. It is barely used and not abused - none of their "warrantee rejection reasons" below relate to my care of the knife. I will never again by a SOG knife and recommend that you don't either. Here's the Company Response for my request for help: Thank you for submitting your online warranty request. We regret to inform you that your request has been denied. Our Sog warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, resharpening, damage caused by misuse, lack of normal maintenance, or disassembly. We do not have replacement parts to send out or for purchase.
