Great SAAS Finance Resource Ben is a great resource for all things SAAS finance! His class is a great refresher for all SAAS concepts. He provides great templates and helpful examples. I highly recommend it if you are new to SAAS or have staff that need to ramp up quickly.

Shorten your learning curve to correct SaaS Accounting My company is 7.5 years old and we have successfully made the 'pivot' from a consulting company to a SaaS+ company while building our Healthcare Data Interoperability Platform. I've done a fair amount of finance and accounting over my career, but what I realized after making this pivot was that I just didn't have the information that other SaaS companies had, and it was driving me nuts. Not only did I not have a straight-forward way of calculating the metrics I needed, I was unable to benchmark my company against others in our field. I started researching and ran across Ben's website and the plethora of information he provides. That lead me to look into his SaaSCFO course, and after doing a pretty detailed investigation, I elected to take the course, and I enrolled my Director of Finance as well. We attended the January 23 cohort for six weeks. Honestly, I was blown away. From the very beginning, it became clear why I was struggling. Like many, I was using a standard QB Chart of Accounts to produce a standard P&L & Balance Sheet, and that just flat does not work. Ben's advise was clear, it made sense, it was very applicable the problems we were facing. The only thing I don't like about taking the course is that we had a fair amount of restatement to do on our chart of accounts to get them where they need to be. I can tell you that, as a result of Ben's course, we now have a very SaaS compliant accounting system, and I'm already creating the historical metrics and future projections that I've needed for a very long time. If your interested in getting your SaaS company's books right, and need those metrics anywhere near as much as I did, do yourself a big favor and take Ben's SaaSCFO course. You'll be glad you did. The additional templates and benchmarks are useful in putting them into practice. A must take coarse for anyone looking to bring transparency and institute operating leverage at a SaaS company.
