Deceitful company Wife bought Masterclass last year. Watched a few short series. Forgot about it due to the limited interesting content. She bought it at a discount "buy 1, get 2". We've tried to redeem that 2nd membership. Only got errors from the website. Funny thing, I receive an email the day after the 2nd "free" membership that we never were able to activate to tell me they've fixed the issue and now it should work. At that point, we can't activate it and support will not do anything about this. If you ask me, this is intentional and really just a deceitful marketing scheme. Overall, too expensive for the limited amount of short interesting content. Will not touch again and recommend you do the same.

Unsettling Practices and Shallow Content Masterclass.com is already overpriced for what you get. Even the best masterclasses leave you wanting more as they only cover basic concepts and never delve into practical applications. As of the last few years, masterclass.com has suffered from severe bloat, adding numerous 'masterclasses' about things like opinions, identity, mental states, and other abstract concepts that aren't practicable skills. My review would probably have been around 3 stars if it wasn't for my recent exchange with customer support. I forgot to cancel my subscription and so I was understandably charged for another year. Immediately after I received the subscription renewal email I reached out to customer support to ask for a refund and to close my account. To my surprise they would not refund me. This is extremely unsettling and speaks volumes about the character of the business. They have no tolerance for mistakes and as such capitalize on these mistakes. If you are reading this I urge you not to subscribe. If you are interested in learning something new you will find more information for free on youtube. Personal 1-1 lessons from a local instructor will be more beneficial than anything you can get from this service.

Beware the gift that keeps on taking! A couple of years ago we were gifted a masterclass subscription. We were not particularly interested but apparently signed up for a couple of courses that we never viewed. To sign up we had to enter a credit card and for three years were charged $180/year though we never used the service. The charges hit at the first of the year and - our bad - we did not review the cc statements and the charges were included in same statements as our holiday spending. This year we saw the charge, challenged it and Masterclass refunded this year's charge and canceled the auto renewal. Masterclass refused to refund the prior years' charges.

Expansive Yet Worthy MasterClass has revolutionised online learning with its unique approach. I must admit I completely switched to this platform instead of researching other popular and free platforms about the topic I want to educate myself. And one can find a class on almost every subject. The quality is overal good, but there were some classes that itโ€™s not their place to be here. Anyway, this is a subjective thin so I forgive this flaw. Maybe the same classes other people will find them useful. The downside, however, is the hefty price tag.๐Ÿ™

Beware! Scam! Scam! You can never cancel your subscription. I made my subscription for my first year and I didn't like it so I decided to not renew. The following year they took the money, which I understand as I didn't actively cancel my subscription. So after they took the money I tried to cancel my subscription and you just can't. They refer you to a fake page that doesn't exist where you theoretically cancel your membership, but it literally doesn't exist. I reached out to customer support and they just kept asking for requests to make it difficult. I eventually called my bank and blocked this horrible website and reported it to the fraud department.
