GBTried to take money from my credit card… Tried to take money from my credit card never signed up with them and never even heard of them. Asked for information of who signed up and used my credit card they said they have no information, which they must have if someone signed up. Absolutely disgusting company just lie and claim they can’t help you after trying to defraud my credit card. Beware

GBUnsettling Practices and Shallow Content Masterclass.com is already overpriced for what you get. Even the best masterclasses leave you wanting more as they only cover basic concepts and never delve into practical applications. As of the last few years, masterclass.com has suffered from severe bloat, adding numerous 'masterclasses' about things like opinions, identity, mental states, and other abstract concepts that aren't practicable skills. My review would probably have been around 3 stars if it wasn't for my recent exchange with customer support. I forgot to cancel my subscription and so I was understandably charged for another year. Immediately after I received the subscription renewal email I reached out to customer support to ask for a refund and to close my account. To my surprise they would not refund me. This is extremely unsettling and speaks volumes about the character of the business. They have no tolerance for mistakes and as such capitalize on these mistakes. If you are reading this I urge you not to subscribe. If you are interested in learning something new you will find more information for free on youtube. Personal 1-1 lessons from a local instructor will be more beneficial than anything you can get from this service.

NLBeware! Scam! Scam! You can never cancel your subscription. I made my subscription for my first year and I didn't like it so I decided to not renew. The following year they took the money, which I understand as I didn't actively cancel my subscription. So after they took the money I tried to cancel my subscription and you just can't. They refer you to a fake page that doesn't exist where you theoretically cancel your membership, but it literally doesn't exist. I reached out to customer support and they just kept asking for requests to make it difficult. I eventually called my bank and blocked this horrible website and reported it to the fraud department.

AUThey are bloody charging me out of my… They are bloody charging me out of my pocket till I submit, bend the knee and bow down like dog. It’s a a fraudulent company people, beware! Once your in, your forever locked in. They won’t let you leave! There is no option to cancel subscription, the instructions look straightforward but really it’s just misleading. They never wanted you to leave. There should be a clear bloody visible bottom that says “cancel subscription” but they purposely erased it from their website and app. It’s now become apparent to me that there are thieves running this company. Every company has their fair share of shady business practices but boy, oh boy, masterclass is bloody unreal. You’ve pretty much sold your soul financially and emotionally.

GBBeware the gift that keeps on taking! A couple of years ago we were gifted a masterclass subscription. We were not particularly interested but apparently signed up for a couple of courses that we never viewed. To sign up we had to enter a credit card and for three years were charged $180/year though we never used the service. The charges hit at the first of the year and - our bad - we did not review the cc statements and the charges were included in same statements as our holiday spending. This year we saw the charge, challenged it and Masterclass refunded this year's charge and canceled the auto renewal. Masterclass refused to refund the prior years' charges.
