Forever Indebted to MedSchoolCoach I am so grateful for the support from MedSchoolCoach during my application cycle for general surgery residency. I had been told that my chances to match were slim to none by my home program, so I began considering alternative specialties and even military programs. Dr. Ruby has been cheering me on since day 1. He always was encouraging and he along with my writing advisor really helped me highlight my strengths in my application and interviews. After getting my step 2 score back, I was almost certain I wouldn't match. I then lost my military placement after outrageous changes to my obligation on the last day to sign. I really had felt all hope was lost. Lucky for me, I still had my amazing MedSchoolCoach team on my side. Dr. Ruby was so professional, always prompt for meetings. He helped me go through my long list of programs that I planned to apply to and helped me decide on the final list to submit to eras. His mock interviews helped me so much on the real deal. Dr. Blair Nelson 10/10!! Dr. Blair Nelson consistently went out of his way to help me by offering insightful advice and recommendations for my essays. He was easily reachable and responded quickly. He also helped me feel very comfortable for my interviews by helping me hone in on my strengths and act naturally. Most importantly, he cares deeply about his students' success. Dr. Nelson helped me during my second application cycle. His help made this second cycle much smoother and less stressful. I attribute much of my medical school acceptance to his dedication and support. I would recommend him to anyone! 10/10!!
