GBRoom to Improve, but Great Professor I really enjoy Dr. Francis' teaching style. He is very engaging and connects the concepts to promote understanding. He teaches physiology really well. There can be improvement with the way biochemistry and biostats is taught. It would also be helpful to have most of the lectures on the scheduled days (it has been running over time more often than not), which can be very intimidating for students that need to retake their exam soon. The course is very expensive, but does not include ethics nor practice questions or exams. I am grateful that the live course is recorded, however it does not include tutoring hours. It would be helpful if the drill ppts were made available to students. The provided Quizlet is helpful, but can also be updated as there are a few items that are incorrect. The OMM portion of the class was not communicated well during the first week and not as helpful throughout the course.

GBIt’s the learning experience as well as… It’s the learning experience as well as the environment. Perfect combination for success.

GBThis review truly breaks down medicine… This program truly breaks down medicine and how to truly approach everything knowing physio, biochem pharm and pathophysiology. What it’s missing is anatomy, embryo, and imaging. It’s more than solid knowledge above and beyond the boards. However, it needs to be complemented with those other areas that are missing. I love how Dr Francis truly breaks down how to approach the objectively a question. A thing no other review course does. It’s a solid review to truly understand medicine and test taking skills.

GBDr Francis = Success on Steps 1 & 2 Dr. Francis’ “clues” are FREE POINTS on exam day!!! His daily question drills did so much to boost my confidence and show me that I do know the material, I just get tripped up on distracting information and test-writer tricks. Not any more! Dr. Francis, you are my hero.

GBwant to pass your CBSE/Step1? Fall in love with medicine all over again. Boards are like brick walls... you can let them stop you, or you can learn to climb it and come out the other end stronger, more knowledgeable and sure of yourself! Let Dr Francis and the medical student community he has created support you !
