FRStrong prep provider - to be completed with CFAI Learning ecosystem for deeper practice and true exam format Vert structured course. Schwesser Notes are super useful to master the key concepts. Qbank is super useful to review basic knowledge quickly. Questions from Qbank and schwesser mock are slightly too easy. Complete practice with CFAI vignettes and mocks to better practice exam format from official CFA Learning ecosystem.

IEBated customer into buying a study… Bated customer into buying a study package only to to be informed months later that certain products of that study packages were not going to be made available. Would recommend going with UpperMark and not Kaplan.

GBVideo Courses Set Kaplan Apart Overall, great materials. The on demand video courses were particularly helpful and very clear. Seeing formulas used in action and explained step-by-step really allowed the concepts to sink in. The cost is really all that is keeping the Kaplan Schweser materials from a five star review - the price is *very* steep.

GBDisappointing prep materials for 2024 exams When I used Kaplan for CAIA L1, everything was great. Great instructor who provided helpful examples and explanations, and all materials were completed, delivered, and unlocked on time. I don’t know what happened this year but everything has been delayed, materials and activities are locked and not complete, and the instructor for L2 doesn’t explain or provide enough context to help understand the concepts.

GBMany Mistakes, Great User Interface Pros: I really like Kaplan's User Interface and the mix of quizzes, classes, and reading. I think the online classes led by Martin Stoynov are very helpful. I also appreciate the ability to email an instructor with questions. Cons: There are many, many errors in both the books and the quizzes. I have only submitted about 25% of these errors through the online "report an error" tool, and it worries me that there haven't been any user notices for the other errors I've noticed. I am not confident that the Kaplan curriculum is sufficiently mirroring the FRM official curriculum, based on the fact that the classes are 3 years old, and a number of the errors I have identified relate to the fact that an outdated curriculum was being cited or used. The instructors, apart from Martin, are ineffective and do not enhance my understanding of the material. We only go through calculator instructions in Martin's recorded class: Kaplan has not provided any calculator instructions for key FRM learning needs like bond pricing.
