I would love to digging more into different styles (such as John Mayer, SRV... and more challenging licks. One downside (together with many other courses on Pickup) is the lack of groove/beat/tempo instruction. Sometimes you dont know where and when to get in.

Great learning experience So far I've completed the beginner pathway and am past the halfway point of the late beginner one and this is the most fun and the most progress I've made with any online course. It's engaging and not overwhelming at all and the lessons seem to build on each other wich helps to cement the things you're learning.

CAGED system helps the fretboard make sense. The CAGED system helps the fretboard make sense for me. I've played guitar a long time but didn't know how everything fit together. And this class is really helpful. I don't feel talked down to, nor is the material beyond me. The guided exercises with backing tracks make it more interesting, and the songs to upload for feedback at the end of each section range from easy to challenging, so I can pick what I like.

Should have started sooner. I’d taken brief jazz lessons years ago and never furthered my education. I’ve followed pick up since their inception and have only recently decided to explore jazz again. It’s a mistake that it took me long to do so. This program is expertly guided and easy to navigate. I’ve been playing the guitar for 15+ years and I’m mad at myself for now only committing to this program. With the proper commitment to this program, you’ll be ready to take the next step and progress faster than you think. From 2-5-1 progressions, to my personal favorite, jazz blues, this program offers you everything you need to start your journey and continue beyond.

I am loving every bit of Pickupmusic… I am loving every bit of Pickupmusic courses and classes. They make you really progress with your guitar skills, the pathways are well organised and there are many different courses for any style and level. It is great to be a part of the community, especially if you are learning the instrument on your own. You go through playing with backing tracks and improvising, so every bit of theory is wrapped in nice resources to help you making it musical and practice in real-life musical situations. Highly recommend!
