GBGreat experience AND results! My experience with Ryan was nothing short of life-changing. Not only did he help me craft successful applications - I was accepted to HBS, Kellogg, and Haas - but he helped me gain clarity on where I am going with my life AND how to structure an essay and argument with passion and a clear structure. He not only got me into business school, in other words; he made a better write and give me a clearer direction on where I'm headed. His coaching and mentorship were absolutely invaluable. I'm sad that the process of working with him is over; I really enjoyed working with and conversing with him! His instructions are clear, specific, and motivating. And I couldn't be happier with my results, especially considering that my GMAT was below the average for the schools I was accepted to. Fantastic in every way!

GBAdmitted to three MBA programs As an international candidate, I had a lot to learn about the business school application process. I was extremely happy that a friend and former coworker recommended me to Ryan! He provided fantastic guidance through the entire application process, always gave great and candid advice, and was very patient with me. He made me feel confident in my candidacy, even when I had some doubts, and was always willing to give me a pep talk when I needed one. He was so patient, and has an amazing strategic mind and so much knowledge about MBA applications. My results were unexpected to me: I got into Kellogg, Haas, and Cornell with a $50,000 per year scholarship, even though my GMAT score was below the average for these schools. I can't wait to move the United States and start business school in the fall! I could not have done it without Ryan, I'm certain!

GBHighly Recommend Ryan Barba Consulting! With 6 only weeks to go before the Round 5 Admissions deadline at USC, I decided to work with Ryan (directly, not his team) to help primarily with positioning strategy and resume and essay editing. With a non traditional professional background, lower than average GPA for USC admissions (3.1), no GMAT score to prove my candidacy (requirement waived at USC for 2020 year), and applying so late in the decision cycle, I knew getting in would be a challenge. However, Ryan's knowledge in the MBA admissions process, ability to develop a convincing personal branding strategy, and superior editing skills gave my application "an edge" and I was accepted into the Part Time Program at USC with a scholarship! I also applied to the Full Time Program, and was not accepted (why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5). I preferred to attend the Part Time Program, and was so surprised by the scholarship offer, so it really was a win in the end! I'd also like to mention that Ryan is incredibly smart, kind, and works hard for his clients. I really could not have done this without him, and cannot thank or recommend him enough!

GBRyan is more than a great consultant Ryan is more than a great consultant - he's a mentor, motivator, writer, and expert in all things MBA admissions. I absolutely never thought I'd have the positive results from my MBA admissions process that I ended up seeing with Ryan's help. There's not much to say except that Ryan is just incredibly solid, knowledgeable, and supportive. He just gets it - what candidates need, how to succeed in the process, what the tops schools look for and what makes them different from each other, how to overcome candidacy flaws... everything. I got into all 3 schools I worked on with Ryan - HBS, Yale, and Darden, with a 700 GMAT score (which I honestly thought would be too low to get into these schools) and despite a sizeable employment gap on my resume. Darden even offered me a sizeable scholarship. Not much more to say - Ryan's legit.

GBIf you get the chance to work with Ryan, take it! I can't imagine having gone through the MBA application process without Ryan. He is just incredibly knowledgeable, understands the application process and how to succeed... and man can he write and edit. He's just so clear, so professional, so informed, and yet so much fun to work with. Even my recommenders loved talking to him. His dynamic personality made the process much more enjoyable, and I have no doubt that his coaching is the reason I'm readying to go to business school this fall. He literally uncovered ideas, strategies and stories I never would've thought of, that made my application truly, truly shine! I entered the process really insecure about my candidacy. I had an "okay" GPA by the top school's standards - a 3.2 - and a 680 GMAT. Honestly, I didn't think I stood a chance at getting into a top school. Not only did Ryan help me get into Cornell, Duke, and McCombs, but I even got into what I considered to be a "super reach school" for me - Kellogg. All in all, I got into 4 of the 6 programs Ryan and I worked on together, and even got offered two sizable scholarships. I don't know how else to vouch for his incredible skills and how enjoyable he made the process, except to say that he's absolutely worth the investment. If you get the chance to work with Ryan, take it!
