USListening to the customer I mistakenly thought my account had expired, so I signed up for a second account. I later discovered that the original account was still active. I worked with the customer support people and explained the situation. After some back and forth the company refunded my money. They truly listened to my concerns. I was thrilled because I use the app quite a bit in my participation in my reading group. I find the analysis of the books I have been reading to be great conversation starters.

USGreat customer service I bought a Super Summary from Amazon. I was disappointed because the font was quite small and the color was light gray, leaving it impossible for me to read. I contacted SS and within a day they responded that Amazon does their own printing and they can’t control that. But they generously sent me the PDF copy of my book and offered a second one for free. I was very impressed by the quality and professionalism of the customer service which, in turn, reflected positively on the company.

USSuperSummary is well... SUPER! I have a reading tutoring business and SuperSummary was a great resource for me last year when I was tutoring an English language learner. The summaries helped me more easily explain the concepts and highlights of each chapter. We would read the chapter from the actual book, and then read the sunmmary to help clarify etc. It helped my student gain confidence and improve her vocabulary and reading comprehension skills even though her current reading level and vocabulary understanding was below where her class was at. It made lesson prep much easier and a huge time saver for me. They also have fabulous customer support!

USCanceling subscription Although I was not able to find a phone number to speak to someone about my cancelled subscription the e-mail function worked and I was able to get a refund. I gave a lower score because there was no prior notice that my subscription was renewing.

FRSlow customer service on refund EDIT: issue resolved Slow customer service on refund, where I tell that I signed up for a monthly payment, got charged the whole year. Kinda feel like an absolute scam. Edit: My refund was given to me pretty rapidly after I took down my Paypal dispute, and the support was kind even though the first message they send me looked like a threat. TY
