DECan't cancel 7-day trial (solved) Tried to cancel the trial before deadline, but the cancel subscription button won't work (still doesn't work now). No way to cancel, I got billed €124,95. Immediately requested for a refund and haven't used any courses since being charged, will update if I receive it. Be careful with this company. UPDATE: Thanks you Steph from customer service, who has promptly issued a full refund after an email. It may be better to directly email the support team rather than to submit a refund request through the app. The app itself is good to awaken a beginner's interest, but offers not much after that. If you want to cancel a trial, make sure to do so through email to be safe.

DEDisappearing classes Although the classes are interesting and the math is (sometimes) well explained, there are also a lot of issues with Brilliant: *Classes disappearing in the middle of doing it. Algebra 2 for example *Classes skimming through essential piece of information, e.g. Introduction to linear Algebra. I'd really recommend a mix of other solutions if you want to further your understanding of mathematics. Khan Academy & 3Brown1Blue (and many other free resources) provide better explanation and have the same level of interactivity.

ATGood for children (i guess) The idea is cute but imho accomplishes nothing. It tries to "gamefy" the learning experience but just muddles the learning in the process. I can see this being a fun way to learn about our world for small children or maybe young teens, but the site is definitely marketed towards all age groups. Just reading the wikipedia article about whatever subject you want to learn will most likely get you a better grasp on the topic than spending money on the premium subscription, which a lot of it is being spend on making 'cute animations' and keeping the app running. I have yet to come across actual exercises which require any deeper skill whatsoever. If you have a small child at home which wants to learn about science and the like in a playful way or if you are an adult and want to feel like you are learning something new on your commute this is probably not something bad. For me though this feels like another attempt to make an app for something which does not need it. Buy a book instead.

NOJust brilliant The app is amazing. The courses are well made and i love the streak notification that keeps me engaged. Well worth the money and a good app for anyone, either you need to fresh up your knowledge or for learnig new skills. Customer service is amazing as well , quick replies and so focused on helping and taking care of their customers. Thats what a professional business looks like. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about Brilliant. I warmly recommend it.

GBThis is definitely worth your time! First, this company produces an amazing product. The lessons are broken into easily digestible bits that you can consume at your own pace. The content of these lessons are each important in their own right, and fit together to form the larger lesson seamlessly. Second, when I had any issue at all, they responded immediately, respectfully, and with clear concern for my issue and finding a resolution that I was happy with. The people I have dealt with directly have all been very helpful, friendly, and professional. Thank you, Brilliant.org, for an amazing product, your amazing employees, and simply a very pleasant and enjoyable experience while improving myself and learning something new.
