USBest decision 10+ years into my career I found myself in a job that was terrible fit. It was so bad that I was crying at work almost every day. Even though I knew early on that it wan’t right, it was about a year before I decided to find a solution instead of just complaining about it. At first I tried to go it on my own through the traditional methods (searching through the career sites), but I wasn't getting results and I didn’t feel qualified for the job I really wanted. I came across HTYC through the podcast. They worked with me to identify my strengths and how those show up for me (and work against me sometimes) and helped me define what my ideal work looked like. In the end HTYC helped me not only be able to get the job I wanted (my ideal role) but also taught me how to negotiate for exactly what I wanted. I would absolutely recommend HTYC coaching (and the the podcast) to anyone who wants to find their ideal work and keep themselves from settling! Going through the program has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.

USHTYC was just what I was looking for I got what I asked for working with HTYC! In the beginning, I was not sure if I was looking for a therapist or a career coach. Scott & the HTYC Team made the right recommendation to pair me with Liz. She is knowledgeable, communicative, inquisitive, compassionate and knows when to push me and how much. ;) By working together, I have gained tremendous personal growth and improved my perspectives on my career. I may have wrapping up my coaching but this is not the end of my pursuit of career happiness, whether at my current work place or somewhere else. Regardless, I am now better equipped to pursue when the right opportunity comes along. Thanks again to Liz & HTYC!!

USAccountability, support, and great tools Career coaching is largely what you make of it, but here's why HTYC worked for me. The Intake Process: Phillip was very helpful with distilling my goals in coaching, determining which coach on the team was the right fit for me, and outlining the process and objectives I would reach in coaching. Coaching Sessions: I worked with Jennifer, and she's great. An active listener, and made sure our sessions were customized to meet my goals and where I was at throughout the career search process. It was clear that each coach has the ability to tweak the program to their individual style and the client's needs. We didn't follow the Career Change Bootcamp program to a T, because I was seeking coaching for a long-term vision for my career, rather than an immediate job change. In working with Jennifer to articulate my career goals and needs, I was able to recognize when I was time to leave a job that wasn't serving me, and I did end up finding a new job 6 months after coaching started. Online tools: For those who prefer more structure, the online modules for the Career Change bootcamp were helpful, with easy to follow videos and worksheets. I didn't use all of the tools, but many were helpful in the beginning. I especially liked working on identifying my Strengths. The Podcast: obviously not required for purchase, but I loved listening to clients' stories, while going through my own journey.

USGet a step-by-step approach to career ignition This service is worth your time no matter how you interact with the team and where you are in your career search. I began connecting with HTYC through their podcast and eventually starting working with them as I needed guidance on career change. They took a seemingly mysterious, definitely scary journey and provided a guided approach to change, introspection and career ignition. Fast forward and I am in a brand new industry, am challenged, have endless opportunities for growth and making twice as much as I did in my previous job.

USHighly recommend their coaching and podcast! I'd listened to the Happen To Your Career podcast for several years before reaching out to Scott about getting career coaching. I'd been in my roll for nearly 10 years, wanted to stay, but felt like it was time to renegotiate. What I expected/hoped for was maybe a 10% raise MAX, as I was already near the top of my salary range for the area. Scott pushed me to ask for more, helped me feel confident I was worth that ask, and coached me through how that will probably go, what to say, when and how to say it, what not to say, etc. I walked into my boss's office prepared and he knew it. As my request went higher up the chain, they knew it as well. My preparations and HTYC's great coaching paid off, in a few week's turn around time I was given a 20% raise, and renegotiated job duties which will help me enjoy my job even more! I highly recommend both their podcast and coaching services, Scott and his team are the real deal!
