Fantastic teacher! I can't recommend Verbalplanet -- and my teacher specifically -- highly enough. Language is meant to be spoken and you can only learn so much from a book, language apps, etc. Live instruction is the only way to prepare for the give and take of actual conversations -- especially if you plan to use your new language when you travel! Verbalplanet provides a user-friendly platform, and you book your lessons in your own time zone, so there's no confusion about when your lesson will be. Reasonable prices, too! Grazie mille, Verbalplanet!

No refundable trials I like the fact that you can see the description and background of each tutor, so you can find one that might suit you. Also, it's very convenient to see all available timeslots of tutors and if you are shy to say goodbye you can just stop scheduling classes :) What upset me is the refund policy, each student has only 1 trial and in case for any reason the trial didn't happen, they will not return it to you. Like, in my case, the teacher didn't show up for a lesson, but I wasn't able to use trials anymore to schedule a lesson with some other teachers :/

Great service Very easy to schedule lessons. I have been taking lessons with Julieta for almost 2 months now. She is fantastic. Always on time. She has a wonderful teaching style, always positive. I can’t say enough good things about her.

I learned about Verbal Planet through two of my friends, one French and one American. I learned about Verbal Planet through two of my friends who wanted to learn Arabic. It is an excellent program, easy to access, practical, and helpful. I thoroughly enjoy my classes with my Italian teacher. I hope to continue as long as possible with her until I become fluent in Italian. I do encourage my friends and family to use Verbalplanet for their own language courses. Thank you. Yasmine Fahim

Excellent, Dedicated Instructors Verbalplanet makes it easy to find excellent, dedicated instructors.
