It is comforting to see that they use their own life experiences, humor and errors, to show that making mistakes do happen, but with time they can be worked out. The video instructions have been easy to follow and give you a feeling that the instructors are sitting along side you. The test following the instructional videos have been insightful and challenging but help to show growth immediately. The staff has been readily available when needed and very constructive and sensitive to your inquiries. Daily contact: text messaging, e-mails and personal inspirational encouragement has proven that this is a caring and supportive program that proves their mission on helping people know, "If you can hear it, you can play it." Lifetime Member As a lifetime member, I have enjoyed the new GMTC app in comparison to the old website. There are a variety of courses and lessons to learn how to play piano by ear from this app. I have learned a lot of theory from the lessons; and there is even now a daily chat available for anyone to get extra support and share their learning process. Excellent curriculum Excellent curriculum, environment with extremely knowledgeable teachers and coaches. If you really want to learn how to play Gospel music by ear, this program will do that and more. It provides a strong music theory, ear training etc. Loved it.

So you can learn the theory behind music, chords structure, progressions etc. There is no limit to how far you want to go.
