At Hear and Play Music and the Gospel Music Training Center, our passion is helping musicians worldwide unlock the art of playing the piano by ear. Founded in 2000 by Jermaine Griggs, we have dedicated decades to teaching the dynamic skill of understanding and interpreting music through ear training, music theory, and recognizing patterns. Our focus is on soulful music genres that best express this art form, including gospel, jazz, blues, soul, R&B, and pop. We believe that playing by ear transcends traditional music learning methods, allowing musicians to experience and express music in a deeply personal way. This is one of the best online Music… This is one of the best online Music education program. With a world renowned Professor of Music that can teach, simplify, and take you to your next musical level. With a family of musicians that are also willing to practice with you. Until you get to where you want to be as a professional musician. I would encourage anyone to just try it for 6 months. You will see amazing results

I was disappointed with the way discounts were offered and I was charged thousands over the years. I haven't learned or advanced at all. I'm still believing God that I'll meet someone to help me with music, now that I'm retired. I've been purchasing from early 2000 until 2014, or so

Lifetime Member As a lifetime member, I have enjoyed the new GMTC app in comparison to the old website. There are a variety of courses and lessons to learn how to play piano by ear from this app. I have learned a lot of theory from the lessons; and there is even now a daily chat available for anyone to get extra support and share their learning process. I always like seeing the new content being posted on the GMTC learning platform. Thank you Jermaine Griggs, Jonathan Powell, Dr. Onye, and Brian for providing a great Gospel Piano Training Program!

Excellent curriculum Excellent curriculum, environment with extremely knowledgeable teachers and coaches. If you really want to learn how to play Gospel music by ear, this program will do that and more. It provides a strong music theory, ear training etc. Loved it.

It provides an opportunity for anyone… It provides an opportunity for anyone to learn how to play simple songs. So you can learn the theory behind music, chords structure, progressions etc. There is no limit to how far you want to go. It wasn’t long before I started a successful entertainment business.i play piano and sing. It’s such a joy to play someone favorite song.
