GBLifetime Member As a lifetime member, I have enjoyed the new GMTC app in comparison to the old website. There are a variety of courses and lessons to learn how to play piano by ear from this app. I have learned a lot of theory from the lessons; and there is even now a daily chat available for anyone to get extra support and share their learning process. I always like seeing the new content being posted on the GMTC learning platform. Thank you Jermaine Griggs, Jonathan Powell, Dr. Onye, and Brian for providing a great Gospel Piano Training Program!

GBI love the interaction between the… I love the interaction between the coaches and students. I believe there needs to be more ear training. I came into the program thinking we were going to learn mostly how to play by ear. Although I appreciate what I have learned, learning by ear is mostly why I participated in this program

You will learn to become a gospel musician and be able to play what you hear. But make no mistake. When you learn these skills, they will apply to all kinds of music.

GBI believe I will eventually be able to apply the concepts I was encouraged by seeing the recital. I’m still struggling because I can’t write out the notes fast enough to practice the riffs, ups and downs techniques for each progressions. I am visual and learning to be audible.
