Transformative Experience I worked with Tim Maryon through Soundfly. While it may sound trite and disingenuous, it was truly a game changer. Prior to my work with Tim, I felt as though I was aimlessly puttering around, stuck in musical purgatory. I didn't lack ambition, but I lacked practical guidance that would allow me to form an actionable game plan both in the short and long term. I did the 6 week mentorship program… I did the 6 week mentorship program and it worked awesome for me. I mainly used for feedback on my own tracks and it helped me drastically. My mentor had really constructive criticism throughout the whole program and he helped get my songs to the level I was looking for. And I love how personnalized the whole thing was. I came in with a set of goals in mind and that's exactly what we did.

Soundfly is like Nitro for your learning music production journey Soundfly is a great way to accelerate your learning journey. They really have great comprehensive courses and an excellent One on One mentorship program where you get direct input from an experienced mentor who helps you accomplish your goals. It's best to have one or two well defined goals vs trying to learn a whole bunch in a month. You get at least 4 weekly sessions - these fly by if you are not focused. Best to go deep than wide. My mentor was awesome Joseph - but I had too many goals I think. I learned alot, but will adjust my goals next time. Why not 5 stars? I would suggest that the goal outlines and clear success metrics should be discussed even more before starting... my fault, but Soundfly could integrate this into the onboarding process. I'm probably a little unfair to them as every student is different. But 4 1 hour sessions can only do so much - better to get really focused. Otherwise they are real, honest, professional and nice people... and a great slack community! Honestly try it - great content, community, value for money. It's better than just some monthly video course... its direct, live and specific to your needs, and your learning stage. You will love the progress you make with Soundfly.

Mentor Session with Joseph Capalbo I needed guidance. I needed feedback. I needed accountability. So, I got a SoundFly coach: Joseph Capalbo. I did more production in those 4 weeks than I ever have. Definitely grew from point A to way beyond point B. Joseph is very personable, encouraging and held me accountable in the best way. Highly recommend him and any SoundFly mentor for anyone looking for music production growth!

Tailor-made courses The whole experience was very tailor-made. Both the head of the courses and the mentor took the time to discuss my expectations before I started. They were very open and flexible in terms of payment and timing of the course. The mentor was very supportive and kind. I could ask him any questions I wanted and every week he dedicated a whole hour to discuss my work. It really is worth its price.
